When I started this process of buying a boat, I called a few places that seemed less than interested in going thru the process of truly selling me a boat. I called Lake Country spoke with Jacob and the rest was easy sailing. I work long hours so having a salesperson I can trust was priceless. The end result of that was my money being stolen and a broken tensioner that I just purchased. When Scotty and Jessica heard my circumstances of being left with no vehicle for 2 (LONG) weeks with 3 children they immediately, and so generously offered to help me. They wanted to make sure that one bad "mechanic" was not a representation of all mechanics. They went above and beyond to help me during this difficult time in my life. We had planned to haul out in a few months for blister repair and bottom paint, after observing we decided we found our place. Excellent work, reasonably priced, and impeccable communication. Great pool and bath house, laundry, floating docks, dog park across the street, with instacart and walmart delivery options. Great short ride to Yorktown via dinghy to enjoy the free hop on and off trolly tour. Can't say enough great things about this place we will defiently return.

Wormley Creek Marina is by far my favorite marina so far. The staff is extremely friendly,…read moreknowledgeable and accommodating. They have just opened the new bath house, laundry room and pool. There are a couple of beautiful flower gardens, not to mention the marina is nestled in a placid area surrounded by large trees. The entire marina is pristinely manicured. They have a full working service yard and haul out. The ship store is stocked with a wide variety of boater's needs. We are on the great loop and needed a repair to our bow thruster, the marina was happy to work us in even though they were booked through July! So much to do close by, Uber does pick up from here and food can be delivered. If you get the chance this is a great place to stay.

Took my 2006 Yamaha 90 outboard, connected to the boat to this establishment in June. Motor was…read moregoing into "guardian mode". After a $800.00 repair bill for new carburetors, was told all was good. When I took the boat out a couple of weeks later, NO CHANGE IN MOTOR PERFORMANCE!!!!!!!! So took it to another repair shop and was told that the reason was motor not pumping cooling water. After calling Poni back regarding this issue, I was informed that they would look into the issue, for another cost. They also stated that since I did not request they sea test the motor they did not perform such a test. With a comment like that, I declined to have them service the motor and had another marine look at it. They found that the lower unit water impeller was damaged causing the cooling issue. Plus found that the carburetors had green mold inside them. After I informed the owner of PONI, I was refunded $200.00. But that does not cover the expensive of having to have a real mechanic look at my motor. And this establishment claims that they are a Yamaha service center. With the type of service I received how can this place have five stars?
