Also, I don't often write reviews unless it is a service I was extremely pleased with. I enjoy giving positive feedback. This business is one to avoid. When families are coming to them, they are at their most vulnerable moment. They need help themselves or, in my case, a dear family member-my mother. There were blunders with paperwork and getting someone to care for my mother but, hey, things happen and no business is perfect. However, it was their response-their reaction that stung like a bee. They were flat, numb and unempathetic to my situation. I was emotional, after all, we are talking about my mother who was in desperate need of care. I am assuming, because I was upset at the lack of responsiveness to my situation, they had the Director call me back. That was their mistake. This woman was by far the worst example of human compassion ever. She spent her time defending the actions of the company and belittling me. She actually said to me, after telling me that she was not talking about me of course, that some people want us to take better care of their parents then they do. She was condescending, rude and without a shred of compassion in her voice. The irony is that I am a complaint handler for a LTC Insurance Carrier and deal with children of our senior population everyday. They call me in the same desperate state that I was and I go out of my way to help them. I take ownership for the company, even when it may not be entirely on us. My goal is to calm them and help them get the care and support that their family needs. This company can use grief sensitivity training. May I suggest Forever Healed. In the meantime, I already paid them-yes, they demand payment in advance of service. They never provided any care. I now have a new agency who is extremely caring and willing to wait the 7 business days Blessed Hands and Heart says it will take to refund my money to me. For now I am out close to $400.00 for care they never provided and have to rely on this company to return my money to me. I am praying that they end our relationship by sending me a refund without me ever having to speak with them again. Mom's new company will be starting first thing tomorrow. I am excited.

That is likely why her business has thrived for so long. When my mother fell ill, there was not a second thought about who to call. My family and I would not entrust our mother's care to any other agency.
