During the neck massage I noticed my sinuses started draining. I generally have earaches with sinus congestion, and I believe the work she was doing released a lot of the pressure I've struggled with this winter. I was going to one in Greenville but found Jan right here in Simpsonville less than 2 miles from me! Jan is fantastic and a professional. Since this was my first appointment with Jan, I decided to have a reflexology massage (feet) just to see if we were a good fit. To my surprise, she focused on both the feet and hands. OMG, the warm towels and the lavender oil, the soothing music exceeded my expectations. My feet hadn't been manipulated since leaving MD and after Jan massaged them I swear the life returned back to my feet! My feet haven't felt this good in years! I mean she gets in between the toes, ankles, stretches the foot, she didn't skip a beat. Awesome experience! I can't wait to have my next appointment with Jan for an integrated deep tissue massage. I have a lot of problems with my left leg due to surgery. She has helped me a lot with the pain in my leg. I tell her which area of my body is giving me trouble. She will spend more time on that area to help me the most. I really enjoy a deep tissue massage. If you don't like that much pressure just let her know. She is also a wonderful person and a great listener. A few years I was working up to 10 hours per day sitting down in an office environment. I was having so many neck and lower back problems. She told me about different stretches and exercises I could do throughout the day to alleviate pressure and pain. She is very helpful. Her business is located upstairs in a Chiropractor's office. It's a very clean and relaxing massage room. The massage table is comfortable. She will put more blankets on or take some off depending on your needs. He gave me the most amazing 90 minute massage I ever had ( and I have had many ) After he finished I felt so relaxed and light as a feather. This feeling stayed with me for the next two days. I have a lot of discomfort from tension and knots in my upper body ( back, shoulders, neck..) Nick is kind and personable as well as an awesome massage therapist . To make things worse when Hannah, my "massage therapist", was "massaging" my feet, something felt odd, she was doing it with one hand which led me to look down and she was ON HER PHONE with one hand while she "massaged" my foot with the other. The "massage" was uneven, odd, and not relaxing. This was a waste of my hard earned money. My feet still hurt after leaving this place. Why was this place trending on Groupon? I don't know. She knew I saw her on the phone and she still offered me a membership and dared to ask me for referrals. The only reason I didn't talk to the manager was because there was a child in the front office and I also needed to get out of there.
