I paid $750 in July 2019 for preliminary structural drawings for load bearing wall removal. I…read morerequested several times for the final stamped drawing and just received it today 10/25. The preliminary drawing included an error (wall remained) and a post that I stated I did not want, however-Rich said it was necessary. Builders came in August 2019 and removed the wall/installed LVL beam and said the extra post is not needed at all. Builder contacted Rich to inform of the construction w/o the post and now I get a bill charging me for $95 for "revision" drawings. Jocelyn, the office manager emailed me saying, "Like any other business, we have to charge for our time in order to maintain profits. Revised drawings will be released upon receipt of payment." $750 only buys structural drawings with errors sent 3 months too late (after construction). Another $95 will get me the corrected version of the already completed construction. And I will receive it after I pay and when they are good and ready to send it, if ever at all.

They looked around, brought their cleaning supplies in, and told us they were getting to work. Then, while my girlfriend and I were distracted hanging a new shower curtain, they literally took their cleaning supplies and snuck right back out the door without saying a word! For ten minutes, we didn't even realize they were gone. We learned from a text that they were bailing on the job. They tried to claim later that a contractor who was finishing up in the kitchen had been 'in their way' - but they had three empty to start with! Maybe the job was bigger than they expected? I could understand if they had asked for an additional fee if they misunderstood the scope of work. But who sneaks out on their own clients without a single word? The cowardice and lack of professionalism almost defies logic. After a full day of our own work, my girlfriend and I found ourselves scrubbing bathroom floors and dusting at 10 pm to get our tenants back in on time.
