I've been getting acupuncture and cupping treatments from Awny for a variety of issues over the past few months, and my experiences with her are consistently amazing. Whether my digestion is off or I'm dealing with lower back pain, she knows exactly how to treat it and does a great job communicating with me before, during, and after our sessions. I always leave our sessions feeling well-rested and 1000x better than when I walked in. Awny also introduced me to cupping and reiki -- both have been awesome in conjunction with the acupuncture. Cupping can be extremely intense (but never painful, just in that deep tissue massage kind of way) and usually leaves me with marks, but they fade after a few days. I used to go exclusively to community acupuncture centers, which makes acupuncture much more affordable and accessible, but I'm now willing to spend more on private sessions with Awny because she's so gifted, caring and effective! read more

I initially went to her several years ago for jaw and ear pain associated with TMJ and she completely eradicated the problem via acupuncture, cupping and other holistic recommendations. She's extremely knowledgeable, kind, funny and really listens to what's going on with you. Recently she's been a godsend helping me manage side effects from chemotherapy. I cannot say enough great things about this GIFTED HEALER! Awny is the REAL DEAL! She comes from a lineage of healers and offers needling, cupping (my fav), massage, sound healing, chord cutting, guided mediations and more! Plus, she is an herbalist who has given me herbs for everything from back pain to yeast infection to grief and heartache. I saw Awny after I was hit by a car and suffered severe trauma and pain and I came to her limping in level 8-9 pain and left her clinic in 0-2 pain. Awny at On Point is the best! I decided to seek out acupuncture treatment for a painful running injury, I was feeling radiating pain and discomfort down my thigh, and up into my lower back. Feeling rejuvenated! I went back to Awny for a second time this week, and had yet another lovely experience. I get regular treatments from Awny, mainly for stress and sleep issues, and she makes every treatment feel like a spa visit. Awny is an absolute miracle healer! She is hands down the reason why my health has been given back to me and I'm so grateful for her. Awney is a truly gifted healer .. I have been battling 2 herniated discs in my lower back for the past 3 years and it has effected all aspects of my life as I have been plagued with the most uncomfortable chronic pain even having to be in a wheel chair because the pain was so debilitating. Im a very active person so needless to say this has been an extremely difficult time. I have tried everything from multiple cortisone shots, Rolfing, acupressure and acupuncture not to mention taking painkillers daily to just function 'normally'. I was at my wits end when I went to see Awney last month after another excruciating flare up. I walked in with a my usual skepticism that nothing was going to really make that much of a difference but after my session the difference was life changing.
