Hi there!
I am writing this review for EVERYONE to know what I went through on my wedding day thanks to Heather Green.
I emailed heather about 3 weeks before my wedding day, she confirmed that she was available and I sent her all the information regarding our address in kihei, what I wanted and the time. 3 days prior my wedding she emailed me back asking for the information and confirming the appointment. I emailed her back with all the info again and I asked if she could come a bit earlier. I never heard from her... I emailed 4 times the night before the wedding, early in the morning on the day and nothing....
around 1030 she showed up at our place, and all the fun began...
there were 5 of us that needed the hair to be done , 2 sisters, my mum, a friend and I.
when she got there she told us that she doesn't wash her customers hair, that she didn't even have shampoos, that people usually prefer having their hair dirty on their wedding day OMG! I could not believe what she was saying... ok my 2 sisters after knowing that she wouldn't wash it they decided to do their own hair. time to do my hair(I washed it on my own) but what I found out that she didn't have a hairdryer, hairbrush or foam for my hair!!! so, I let her use my basic hairdryer (I have a really curly beautiful hair). I asked her if she knew how to dry my hair and she said yes. here comes the best part! she started drying my hair without brushing my hair even though I gave her a brush!. she literally ruined my curls!! my hair was extremely frizzy that I had to rewash my hair!!!!! after making all of my family angry and stressed she decided to follow my instructions and do what I actually wanted. my curls weren't as good as they should have been but we managed to fix them. when she was doing my gathering she was using her bobby pins and I could tell that they weren't professional ones more than likely she had bought them at the dollar shop, so I offered her mine but she refused to use them. Once she finished she did my makeup, I must mention that she did an amazing job, she knew this time what she was doing.
she charged me 200 dollars for everything even though she had to use my products, but I didn't have more time to argue with her since I had to get ready. by the time I got ready and jump in the taxi to go to the ceremony my hair was down!!!! my mum dad and even the taxi driver started panicking and the driver had to pull in at wall greens and bought me more bobby pins so we could fix everything!!!
so I had to do my own hair even though I had hired a professional hair stylist and paid 200dollars!!!!
luckily the rest of the wedding was amazing and it is a day that I will never forget! but please keep in mind my story when it comes to hire a hairstylist for your wedding day so you don't go through the stress that my family and I went through.
