I have walked past this place multiple times, probably because I regularly find myself down on Victoria Street (though not for that reason). Anyway, one night I grabbed a friend and decided to check it out. For some reason I have a thing for burger joints that don't happen to be the standard fare. Well, it turned out that we were not at all disappointed. The burgers were nothing short of awesome. The Melbourne art on the ceiling was heaps cool, as were the craft beers on tap. So while I still love the fries this place has lost it's shine for me. They have only recently opened and honestly for a double bacon jammy at 15.90 was already a bit of a stretch. Shockingly they have already increased prices! Now it's 16.90 for a double bacon jammy and all their double burgers are one dollar more to 16.90 each. Additionally the single pattie smash hit has gone from 10.90 to 12.90! Just silly I'd much rather have 2-3 banh mi's at nhu lan across the road or if jonesing for a burger will go to 1090. With great success out in the Eastern Suburb of Ferntree Gully, On It Burgers have started to expand their business and setup shop number two on Victoria Street in Abbotsford. With a brand new renovation, On It Burgers is definitely a place you can hang out with friends while sipping down milkshakes and eating burgers. From my experience, I rated my burger an 8.5/10. The patties are cooked to a nice pink medium as a standard which I am a fan of, they are soft and juicy. They will cook it your preferred taste upon request. The patties on the burgers are 120g which may mean one or two patties are needed to get a good meat/bun ratio and with the extra patties only an extra $3 I wouldn't be surprised me to see a few triple patty purlers head out the kitchen.  Single patty burgers range from $10.90 - $13.90. On It Burgers boast about the quality of their meat and I agree it was very tasty, the house sauce is unique and lickable off the plate, bacon jam is on another planet and the buns are nice soft brioche - a great combination and a burger, worth putting on the ever growing burger list. read more

This is by far one of the best venues we have been to... the setup is really stellar! It has both a casual and smart-casual feel as the interior is very modern and chic. We loved the artwork on the ceiling and thought the beer garden was a nice touch. Another positive was that it is easily accessible via public transport - only being a five minute walk away from North Richmond station. The staff members there were very welcoming which made our experience even more enjoyable. We ordered the 'On It' burger and added a panko crusted cheese filled Portobello mushroom, a 'Fun G' burger with added free range crunchy chicken and we also got their banana and choc cookie shakes. They have a really wide range of shakes, so we are looking forward to trying more yummy flavours! Both the burgers we ordered were $11.90 which is very reasonable, and both add-ons were only $3.50 each. The large shakes were $6.90 - so their food is priced very reasonably and is great value. We took a seat in one of the booths and our shakes arrived shortly after. They aren't served in a fancy glass with multiple toppings but they are extremely tasty and creamy, which is the most important thing. Our burgers arrived shortly after. As they were brought out, we were actually hit by the amazing aroma - they smelt so good! Overall, both of the burgers were scrumptious! The 'On It' burger was really tasty. The beef patty was cooked to perfection and the cheese was nicely melted. The red onion, lettuce and tomato gave nice extra flavour to the burger. We couldn't get enough of the Smokey On It sauce, it was great. Adding the crumbed stuffed mushroom made the burger deliciously filling, and tied in all the flavours together. The 'Fun G' with added chicken was another great choice. The chicken was juicy and seasoned very well. The basil pesto was intense, but tasted really fresh with the mayo and crispy onion rings. Everything tied in together well, and the cheese in the stuffed mushroom gave a lovely creaminess to the burger. We were extremely impressed with our On It Burgers experience, and really look forward to going back to try more great food! read more

Burgers everywhere & I am more than willing to try them all. These guys are pretty on point, from their salted caramel shake to their bacon jam (yes you heard correctly) Upon my first visit we had the most upbeat server who actually made my day with his humour and out going attitude. He gave suggestions, advised against ordering the large fries given everything else we were getting, steered me away from the spicey sauce #thankgod I love good service, it will always bring me back even if the meal was not perfect, good service makes the world go round. There is.not slot that.good genuine service can't fix. The burgers were delish, the bacon jam actually out of this world sigh the beef cooked to perfection. Soft shell crab burger was good, not a stand out but good. Odd location in my opinion, but maybe good as there isn't many other burger joints down that end of Richmond? Get on it ! read more

Placed an order tonight on Uber Eats. The burgers are very nice. We shared two of them. A Bacon Jammy and a the Black Label Burger. We also had a serve of onion rings. The burgers are great. Well prepared and very flavoursome. We enjoyed them very much. My favourite was the Bacon Jammy. The onion rings were also wonderful and has a lovely light batter. The food came from several suburbs away and needed some short reheating which wasn't unexpected. It still tasted great. Delivery was efficiently done. New burger place conveniently close to work. The $12 burger, fries and drink deal pulled me in however the burger I chose and my glass of wine weren't included in the deal. The soft shell crab burger with black bun was super tasty and I'd happily go back for another. The staff were also friendly and the atmosphere comfortable.
