I have been going to In Chelsea to see Nici ever since I was a freshman in high school. I have…read morenaturally long and wavy/curly hair, and never once have I been disappointed. Nici has given me long and short styles and each time she takes into account my hair type (unlike many other stylists who chop away without any consideration for what it will look like at home). She is a true talent! The salon itself is affordable and I love the decor. With only a few stylists working at all times(all whom have a cult following with their clients), it has a private feel for the client. I think the personal connection between the stylist and client comes from the intimate and comfy set-up. As if it could get any better, I have never paid over $40 for a haircut and style. These days it is hard to stay fashionable on a tight budget but In Chelsea ALWAYS delivers.

They were fun to hang out with for sure. I'm pretty new to getting a pedicure so if I sound like a rookie, I am. It was awesome, they have these awesome chairs that massage you and soak your feet. Then they start sanding the callouses and it tickles and put on a tingly scrub. My feet and nails look good, I wish it wasn't February so I could wear sandals. But my feet are so smooth, it's almost creepy. They feel like my head after I shave, or a newborn baby's butt. I'm afraid I'm going to slip and fall like those old people in the Life-Alert commercials.
