Anyways, a little while ago Bear Quartz dropped a new trio 2.0 in sunset/orange color that matches my Puffco. By the time I decided to get it, completely sold out on best quartz official site. Today I made up my mind I'd get the bear quartz hot tool instead of the Puffco one, I have called I kid you not I called about 20 smoke shops in Orange County hunting down a trio 3.0, majority of them didn't even carry the trio 3.0 to begin with, some didn't even carry bear quartz at all. The ones that DID carry it stated they've been waiting for a shipment for a while now and have been sold out for over a month. I even went through bear quartz smoke shop map & NOTHING! I finally decided to call this smoke shop even tho they weren't included in the BQ map, but I've had good experiences here so far so I decided why not, I was willing to go to South OC to TRY to find one. Josh picked up the phone and answered my prayers, he made me the world's happiest little dabber. In any case, I have my other smoke shops where I buy certain specific products, but when it comes to consistently great customer service and a well-stocked inventory of almost everything you can think of, Harbor Smoke Shop is the best head shop in Orange County as far as I am concerned. Mostly because of their consistent customer service and also because of their inventory and hours. Harbor Smoke shop is an exceptionally well operated business. I have frequented this establishment for a few years now, drawn in time and time again because they are open 7 days a week 24 hours a day. Granted there are a handful of other head shops open 24 hours a day, my experience with these has generally been negative because these businesses know that in the wee hours of the late night or early morning the chance of you going elsewhere are quite unlikely and therefore, they seem to gouge in terms of overpricing basic items. That was my experience until I discovered Harbor Smoke Shop. The owner knows that there are limited other headships open 24hours a day yet the prices remain lower than most all other shops not just the ones open 24hours a day! Additionally, this business -- more than any other I can think of -- seems to genuinely care about their patrons' requests, opinions, wants, needs etc. and the head shop responds to their patrons by directly fulfilling patrons' wishes. This demonstrates how Harbor Smoke Shop honestly listens to their clients and improves the shop and selection accordingly. Despite essentially always being busy (ie at least two to ten customers shopping the shelves or coming in and out) the individuals working have always been warm, welcoming, courteous, respectful, genuinely caring and wanting to help, and pragmatic. They may be extremely tired working who knows how many hours in a row and they may not speak the most perfect English (occasionally there is confusion because either they struggle to understand me or I struggle to understand them) nonetheless, this smoke shop feels so much more comfortable thanks to the employees who sincerely appreciate their customers. Finally, (a point I feel is worthwhile as so many other stores in general have this problem), when deciding what to buy here, I have never been upsold to spend more money -- in fact, last night the cashier helping me basically helped me to realize that although I was about to change my mind and buy a more large and expensive piece, the cashier reminded me that now is not the right time as I had mentioned I was going on vacation the next day. Harbor Smoke Shop goes above and beyond to exceed customer expectations and to nearly guarantee that their customers are very happy.
