It has that beautiful historic Charleston character, the atmosphere is fantastic, and one of the things I really love is that there honestly doesn't seem to be a bad seat in the house. The views are great from the main floor as well as the balcony, and the size of the venue makes everything feel much more intimate than going to a huge arena. We've attended several different events here over the years, and it's always been a great experience. They bring in an awesome variety of bands, tribute acts, comedians, shows and other entertainment, so it's definitely worth keeping an eye on their calendar. Another huge plus is the location. You're right in downtown Charleston and surrounded by some of the best restaurants, pubs and bars in the city, so it's incredibly easy to turn a show into an entire night out. Grab dinner beforehand, enjoy the show, then walk somewhere nearby afterward for a drink -- which is exactly what we love doing! Our night seeing The Fab Four was another perfect example. Fantastic seats, an incredible performance and a great atmosphere from beginning to end. If you live in Charleston or you're visiting and see something on the schedule that interests you, GO! That said, I remember having an absolute blast. The bartenders were super friendly, welcoming, and stayed on top of everything even though the place was busy. I just ordered vodka sodas, so I can't really comment on the cocktail menu, but my drinks were exactly what I expected every time. I didn't try any of the food, so I can't speak to that, but if you know me, you know I'm a sucker for a good photo booth. They had one, and I definitely used it more than once. It was such a fun addition to an already great night. Between the friendly staff, fun atmosphere, and the photo booth, this ended up being one of my favorite bars I visited in Charleston.
