Also - they are short on salesmanship, I should offer a lesson of sorts to help them out. I have to ask what's popular, it's usually the Peanut Butter and Chocolate Shake (which has real peanut butter). But twice I've been there and twice they've run out of peanut butter. I'm like - WTF? That's your top seller and you're out of peanut butter? Again? I'd say send someone to HEB ASAP and get a damn jar of PB so you can make some sales! Or - how about this concept - let's keep an inventory of peanut butter in the back? Hmmm.....now that's a thought. There's a drive-thru as well, not a lot of traffic here, so that's why I think these little things could help give them a boost. I'd say they are premium priced for what they offer (a small scoop of powder + ice + water + add ins) for about $4-5 per shake, but they're basically the only one in town that I know of that offers such shakes - so that kinda gives them some free reign. I was supposed to get a thigh on each waffle. The chicken vaguely resembled thighs. But the meat was white and very salty. Not good. Should I ever drop in again, I'll stick with a more traditional combination and maybe my extra will be better. It's in a large parking lot with other storefronts so there's plenty to do afterward. The ice cream flavors were laid out with allergen information under each flavor which I really appreciate. I had the pumpkin and was happy to find it wasn't pumpkin pie flavor. The ice cream was well packed into the cup so you don't feel ripped off. The scoop is about $4 which I think is about the going rate so not great but not awful either. I really liked the ice cream. It was fresh and exactly what I was looking for.
