The seam was placed incorrectly in our master bedroom( not the installers fault); the carpet could not be vacuumed with a Dyson and we came to find that out after the fact that would void our warranty; installers were late and never called and hence did not finish the job. On the other hand, I am truly impressed with the Beautiful Guarantee that assured we would not have a hassle replacing what was already installed. I would not hesitate to recommend Carpet One Bloomington but I think it is very important to ask the right questions of the type of carpet you pick vs just color and feel. Josh was our salesperson, and was tireless, knowledgeable, and patient in working out different options and educating us about the pros and cons. We did some comparison shopping. BCO's good pricing, their responsiveness and promptness, and them doing their own work (not subcontracting) were compelling, so we went with them. After we ordered the work, BCO was able to put the job on schedule within days. The BCO installers accidentally installed the vinyl plank in the wrong area. This error also led to some other issues. When BCO realized this, it immediately acknowledged its error and responsibility, and worked to correct as soon as it could. The BCO installers were back the next day to start addressing the issues, and Eric and another employee even visited the job after their workdays, just to evaluate and determine solutions. Matt (general manager) got involved at the end to make sure that we were satisfied with the resolution. (We were!) However careful a company is, some type of error will happen sometime to that company - that's a fact of life. How the company - and the people at the company - respond sets the great ones apart. We were going for a knotty rustic alder look to try to match our kitchen and stairway. The match is perfect! I could tell he has pride in the work he does because he laser etched Thelen Cabinets logo in the exterior side of the drawer that is visible when the drawer is opened (see pictures). The slides for the drawers and soft close hardware on both the drawers and cabinets are so incredibly smooth. The cabinet shelves are adjustable and fit perfectly in the cabinet. The doors close perfectly with no gaps or loose parts. We are so incredibly lucky to have found Chad at Thelen Cabinets. He has gone above and beyond all of expectations to make sure that we are happy. I will be recommending Thelen Cabinets to everyone I come in contact with.
