I was recently referred to the office on West 19th street for several procedures. I arrived very excited to receive fillers so that my lips can look fuller, and receive fillers under my eyes to remove the bags underneath. Needless to say my experience turned out very poorly! I am writing you to express my extreme dissatisfaction with the finished product & the treatment I received from "Hazel", the individual that performed the "work done" with the hopes you can help remedy this situation. Hazel arrived over an hour late, was rushed, and completely disconnected from the task at hand. Given this was my first time getting fillers it would've been helpful for Hazel to properly explain what to expect. More directly, she used one syringe and the bags were never removed. The area underneath my eyes looked worse - even after 2 weeks. I called several times to make a follow up appointment, & sent pictures. On the second visit I was treated with "radio frequency" and Hazel admitted that she should've used 2 syringes and threw away the remainder of the 1st syringe during the first visit. Another week passed, my eyes still bruised, and I decided to go back for a 3rd visit...to rectify this mess once and for all. Again, after I waited an hour and a half to meet with "Hazel" what I personally witnessed from "Hazel" (aside from whether the work was or wasn't performed correctly) was an utter lack of respect towards a customer. I respectfully expressed my displeasure politely and with legitimate concern ONLY. What I experienced back was language filled with passive aggression and insults. Hazel acted like trash. She was condescending, nasty, disrespectful, and petty. She wanted to go toe-to-toe with the customer instead of acting with empathy to try and alleviate my concerns. At times Hazel threw her hands up in the air with disgust, told me - SHE (Hazel) was unhappy, her time was being wasted, told me to "do whatever I want about complaining or another procedure" and could care less how I felt. I even said I would take my grievances online and to social media and I was told go do whatever. Never in all my years of visiting doctors offices have I seen a professional person act in such a disgraceful manner. I am informing everyone on Yelp because I cannot see how logical it would be for you a business owner in New York City to allow someone to represent their business in that manner. I was a client of Dr. Eviatar close to 10 years. At last appointment I was late, got a call about 30 min after the appointed time and informed that I missed the appointment and have to pay $200 cancellation fee, and they can't see me that day. Every time I had appointments before, the wait was at least one hour, During my last visit, their systems was down and I had to wait close to 3 hours in the reception. Being a regular customer didn't carry any weight. In general, turnaround of stuff is constant, they don't know my name, unhelpful and pushy. read more

I had seen a ton of commercials on TV about Cool Sculpting. I was pretty curious about it because of clothes collecting dust in my closet that wouldn't quite button or even if I could button them, I wouldn't be able to breathe. So I started checking out this fat reduction treatment to see how it worked, what it costs and what the side effects might be.... After making a few inquiries by phone I am so pleased I found Rebecca Weston at Chelsea Cosmetic who I was able to have a free appointment to meet her and have a full consultation. First I found out that she has extensive experience as a Cool Sculpting Technician. She was very professional and personable plus explained everything about how freezing the "pinchable fat" permanently kills a good amount of fat cells and then when they are eliminated naturally from the body some of the fat layer goes with it. Voila, fat reduction in the specific area treated over a 3 month period. So, I signed up after she explained that it is FDA approved and has basically no down time, although a range of potential discomfort and sometimes pain involved that is normal and some other very rare side effects. When I went for the treatment, it was obvious she was an expert and hooked up the applicators after carefully assessing the exact areas I wanted addressed. Rebecca stayed and chatted with me, set me up to watch Netflix during the treatment which was 2 cycles which took about half an hour each. I felt fine after the treatment although a bit "tender" and a little tingling in the area treated for a couple of weeks. Rebecca even gave me her cell phone number which she encouraged me to call her directly if I had any questions or issues after the treatment. Rebecca explained that exercising would speed up the results so I went to the gym and did the elliptical for 30-40 minutes about 4 times a week and upped my walking, nothing crazy. It's only been three weeks and I already can breathe in some of my clothes and the full results are not expected for another 2 months. I first had my experience with Dr. Eviatar back when he was working at Chelsea Eye Associates and I had the lower blepharoplasty surgery when I was 25 to take care of my puffy eyes. I was happy with the results and have been good for years with no problems. Now not to long ago turned 41 (I don't look my age at all), but signs of puffiness was returning and I wanted to take care of it. I put off seeing Eviatar for years so I could save up for another surgery(at least that's what I wanted) and figure I could treat myself to give my refreshed look... I finally made an appointment and met with him after all these years. He didn't remember but granted it was many years that passed since I've seen him. I just told him he did my blepharoplasty surgery and took a look at my face. He told me I didn't need to do the surgery and that my puffiness can be taken care of with fillers( I don't have the papers in front of me to tell you what he used) He said he wanted to make my face even and inject my chin too...I felt uneasy about it because it's not what I wanted to take care of...I was super nervous about the whole thing but the his assistant staff assured me that everything was going to be ok and they had work done too...said I would love it...ok...the price for everything was $2000+ I went back for the procedure still feeling nervous and unsure about what was going to happen but again everyone told me don't be nervous, everything will be fine... So Dr. Eviatar came in and got everything ready, he told me don't worry...They gave me squeeze balls and he began with the injections around the eyes and around my chin area...it was a quick pinch all around( I hate needles ) but around the face I was just holding my breath...when it was over the assistant iced me and told me what to do at home for the next few days. I followed everything I was told to do and looking at my face I noticed the swelling they said I would have wasn't going away.. around my chin it was puffy.. it looked like I had been swollen from a dental visit... plus I have a dark ring under my eyes...I wasn't happy at all. My husband noticed it too but he didn't get on me because he was being supportive ( I could tell he wasn't happy either) More days passed and it was still the same. I look like I got hit in the eyes! I had to go out and buy heavy makeup to hide it. My good side on the right I never had a problem with was messed up and on the left side where I had the most puffiness was WORSE! I felt so horrible and super self conscious about how I looked...I haven't felt that way in a very long time. I kept my true feelings to myself and didn't say anything to my husband...but it was bothering me deeply. I went back in for a follow-up and (sorry I can't remember her name) but another assistant that was working with him was SUPER nice and very sweet. I opened up to her while I was waiting and told her how I was feeling...I started to cry as I talked...I told her I saved all that money and all I wanted to do is to take care of the puffiness I had under one eye and now I looked f**ked up! I told her I'm now self-conscious about the way I looked and hid my eyes behind my long hair... She spoke with Dr. Eviatar and told him how I was feeling...she came back and told me he will fix with for no charge to try to correct the issue...I felt a little relived but in a bit of a shock because once again I have to deal the the needles and the unknown feeling of what's to come after this..He came in, looked at my eyes and explained the dark circles and the puffiness etc...I still wasn't satisfied but...at this point I wanted to have my eyes fixed...so once again the injections start and I was told what to do when following the next few days... I continued to ice a little and use the brightening eye pads they gave me since all of this start... the right side got a little better(but it will never be the same like it was before all of this) and my left side was just a dark baggy mess...I don't have to wear glasses but I have a pair I use for when my eyes bother me from looking into the computer...I put them on to hide the baggy eye.. this went on for 3 weeks just about. The office called to do a follow up and I told them I'm still not happy with the results and that I'm now wearing glasses to cover up the baggy eye..they told me to take some selfies and send it to them... I went back in and Eviatar just came in and gave me a shot to take down the puffiness..the assistant said I didn't need anything else done. As of now I'm puffy and I try to make the best of it..he could have really took more time to make sure I was happy for that I paid..I didn't get my monies worth at all...My husband asked me today if the puffiness is going to go down and I told him that was it..no more visits they told me at the office...all he could say is wow...$2000 just to look puffy...I could have saved my money and done something else with it.. read more

I had a procedure at OMNI by Dr. Joe Evitar in early December. He asked that I come back two weeks later for a follow up... I did and his P.A. Natasha said he wasn't available ... and to wait for another time... I called ten days ago to make another appointment because I didn't get nearly the results I expected and asked for a "correction"... I made an appointment again with Natasha and she asked that I send a photo , which I did, and we had an appointment for today... When I showed up the receptionist said "Dr. Evitar wasn't seeing patients today"... AGAIN no notice, no phone call, no respect. His office staff is extremely unprofessional and seem to "walk on egg shells" as I noticed, the three times I've been to his new facility. I suggest going elsewhere... even though I've been seeing Dr. Evitar for over ten years, it's time to move on to a more professionally staffed office. read more

Out of 8 scheduled appointments over the course of close to 3 years, Dr Eviatar was only able to show up to 2 of them. Shoulder surgery, family emergencies were big reasons as to why he couldn't show up along with 1 very strange and mysterious one: a staff member told me flat out "I'm not at liberty to tell you why Dr Eviatar cannot make it to the appointment". Clearly there appears some sort of personal problem affecting this Dr's personal life which ends up affecting his professional life, business and most importantly, his patients. read more

Every time I've had the chance to visit Dr. Eviatar, I'm always so impressed with the practice. In my most recent visit, I made an appointment because I was experiencing eye pain. I was given an immediate appointment, examined thoughtfully and carefully, and left feeling 100% better, thanks to a new and impressive on-site treatment. Over the years I've grown familiar with much of the staff. The new facility is a great space, with warm decor and friendly smiles. I have never had such a negative experience with an establishment like Omni. Mis-information about services, appointments, etc with Dr. Eviatar. Two week wait for "consultation" then have it canceled on me by VOICE MAIL the evening before my appointment. Then lied two by three different staff persons as for the reason why for the sudden cancellation. Then told Dr. Eviatar will not be available to see me AT ALL in the near future and to book with some one else on staff. All of this on top of being told that my $400 "consultation" fee would be forfeited if I canceled within 48 hours. At least they didn't charge me for cancelling on me within 12 hours. I have since found a wonderful replacement professional, whose office treated me with courtesy and respect. read more

WARNING!!!!! Stay away from Dr Eviatar. He proposed/insisted on injections at a big cost to me, that resulted in huge bumps and deformations to my face, that still after 2 years have not gone away. He dealt with the situation by being rude, unprofessional and disrespectful. Every time I had an appointment with him I had to wait between 1hr to as long as 4hrs to see him sometimes only to be told to come back another time. And that was after he deformed my face. He is a horrible person with very bad judgement regarding treatment. He does not listen to you but speaks over your head. He has a house in the Hamptons that he is focused on and the lovely staff that gave me some comfort during my visits have left. The quick turnover of staff alone is a red flag. Very dissatisfied with my experience. Had a very small area of fat on the top of my navel which they said cool sculpt would fix. The special they were running at the time was 650. for a new patient but they said they had to charge me $950. because they had to use a small applicator ordinarily used for the face. I didn't see the logic of why it should cost more but I went ahead with it. It's not a labor intensive procedure. A technician straps the applicator on you and leaves the room. After the procedure they are very solicitous hoping you will buy other services there but after 4 months when I didn't lose the fat blob and also got hyperpigmentation, they stopped "checking in on me". The tech said I would have a complementary consult with one of the doctors to see what the other options were, but they never set up the appointment and never returned my calls. Don't recommend this place. Clearly out for the money. read more

These doctors are great. I went to Dr. Eviatar for years when the practice was Chelsea Eye & Cosmetic Surgery Associates, and look forward to many more visits in their new space. Dr. Eviatar does amazing work that looks completely natural, and he always recommends the least invasive options. His staff are also kind, patient, and a real delight to deal with. The past management problems that Robert M. seems to be referring to were probably due to problems with the management of the last office, which is why Dr. Eviatar moved his practice and took his cosmetic staff with him. I am so grateful for Rebecca Weston - she is the only person I will ever go to treat my face for lasers of any kind. She is so patient, kind, knowledgeable and thorough. In my first visit, I expected a consultation and wasn't sure whether or not a broken capillary on my face would be treatable. She looked at it and knew exactly what to do and treated it that day and by that night it was significantly smaller. After three treatments total it is gone! I went back to her again to examine some facial hair to see if it could lasered. It is not a lot and most people tell me that it's not a big deal and that I'm being obsessive. Rebecca is so kind and never judges - if something is bothering you, no matter how small or whatever, she will not belittle it - she will do whatever she can to help!
