Glacier National Park area is phenomenal. It's no wonder that there are few places to eat out. So…read moreglad this unassuming little pizza joint is open for visitors. I was glad a fellow Yelper mentioned this place was next to the Exxon... definitely helped since there are a couple other bars nearby. The first night (yes, went here two nights in a row!) had salad and small pizza and my ds had wings. Second night they were slammed and decided to only serve pizza. The service was adequate... they brought us the food and drinks ordered. The pizzas are really good and hand made... we spoke with the woman who throws each pie dough by hand. Both pizzas over two nights were delicious. My salad was pretty good too since it was nice leafy greens lettuce (not iceberg). There are a couple of tvs showing the main sports of the day... in our case we watched a bit of FIFA football (soccer). The AC fan was blowing into the middle of the restaurant and couldn't get away from the cold air.

The restaurant stays busy -- there was a bit of a wait, but this is a busy national park, and anywhere you go at rush is going to have a wait. The servers were fantastic, and all helped each other out. The pizza was amazing. The dough is home-made every morning, and is neither too thin nor too thick. We got a half cheese, half ground beef 12" and it fed two hungry adults. I only wish we had tried this place before our last day! Note: this is not the same as the wood fire pizza building next door.

Tried their Western Burger, Caesar Salad and Huckleberry Ice Cream…read more The Western Burger had bacon jam spread on of the burger patty. There were pieces of actual bacon in the sweet jam. The sweetness is the more prominent flavor. The meat patty was pretty good; beefy and buttery flavor. Came with blue cheese but you can ask for a different type of cheese. Also has side dish of your choice. My friend chose the side salad with ranch dressing. Dressing was good; almost tasted like buttermilk ranch dressing. But the spring mix salad didn't have anything else on it; no croutons nor cheese. The Caesar Chicken Salad was a huge portion and nicely plated. Choice of grilled or fried chicken. Got the fried chicken; chicken pieces with breadcrumbs coating was moist and tender. The breadcrumb coating was not salty which is good because it didn't make the salad too salty. Had lots of shaved parmesan cheese. Lots of croutons. Also had cucumber slices and tomato wedges. The Caesar salad dressing was a bit salty. I wanted the grilled chicken but staff said it will take 20min to make it but the crispy chicken will be faster. The huckleberry ice cream is a must try especially if you have not had it. It's my first time having huckleberry ice cream or any huckleberry flavored. The ice cream tasted like a cross between cherry and strawberry. The staff said it was Blue Bonnet brand from Washington. Nice staff. Big open dining room. Minimal simple decor. Good value.

My husband loved the Octoberfest, so stuck with that. I started With a local cider from Big Mountain Ciderworks is called Snow Devil.(Bright and tasty) Then I tried the Scotch ale from Mountain Man Jeremiah johnson brewing company.. My fave of all the brews. Then on to the Tamarack Amber. It was all right. A little bit stronger than other ambers. Then went for the the Bias Brewery Kolsch. Fresh and crisp and tasted like a light ale. Bartender was jovial and attentive. We sat at the bar since we had time to kill and we're mostly planning on finishing off some beers before having to head to the airport. Clearly a place loved by the locals. And they have a drive of pizza pickup window. Pizza was great if you like thin crust pizza.

I don't know if the ingredients are exactly gourmet, but the crust is thin and crispy, and that's something that so many woodfire places still haven't figured out how to do. I was only visiting the area and I only went to Moose's once, but I sure wish I could bring it home. Plus--peanuts and a saw-dust floor. So it's a little dark. Who needs to see their food? You know where your mouth is.

PLEASE ADD THIS TO YOUR COLUMBIA FALLS LIST! You won't…read moreregret! Let's start off with being greeted by the team when walking in! We ordered the The Bob IPA (brewed by Sacred Waters Brewing Company in Kalispell, Montana) which was a crisp citrus & pine forward brew. Enjoyed it thoroughly. Serve with the Greek salad that comes with a homemade balsamic vinaigrette. Everything paired together so well and the large size is plenty to share for two For our pizza, we ordered the Glacier Rim pizza (all meat combo with pepperoni, sausage, meatball, bacon). WOW. Hand tossed crust to perfection, but not too thick or thin. Plenty of toppings. 12 inch is enough for two people if ordering a starter/salad. Service was fantastic, our brews salad and pizza were all delivered to us. This is a small owned and operated pizza shop with staff who are happy to serve their customers. & to end the dinner evening, they shouted goodbyes to us as if we've been friends for years. Just a lovely experience. Thank you NFP

We've been here twice now while visiting the area. Once take out, once eating in. First time we just got a pizza with pepperoni and onion (our go-to) and it was delish! Second time we got a margharita pizza and a Greek salad to share in store. They were fast to prepare, nice people working, and good amount of seating for the area. Salad was so fresh I loved it. I hadn't tried any pizza in Whitefish but this was still solid enough I'd trust telling someone it's worth the barely 10min drive outside of Whitefish for.
