He was extremely responsive and punctual, which already impressed me. I have a very hectic work schedule, and Chad was more than willing to work around it to get the job done at my convenience. When the day came for the work to be done, he sent his employee Paul, who was just as professional -- respectful, knowledgeable, and clearly experienced. That's something I really value when it comes to electrical work. I highly recommend NJC Electric to anyone needing electrical services, big or small. Thank you, Chad and Paul, for making the whole experience smooth and stress-free!

I've had him come in and do 3 separate projects, an electrical light socket issue, a install on a new flood light, and a remove of a ceiling fan/install of 6 new recessed lights. This was an upgrade from 100amp to 200amp service, which required new grounding rods, a new meter box outside, a new service wire from the meter to the load center and a new load center. Of course there was a lot of labor to disentangle the romex cables from the old load center and install them in the new load center. We only were out of power for a few hours. Todd is a modern contractor, he actually uses email :) I'm happy with the result and definitely recommend his service.

We had been looking for a electrician we could always go to. Always helps to have someone to cover…read moreevery trade you may own when you have a home. So my wife found BMSE Electrical. While the initial work that he did was fine, the service afterwards leads us to that we can't possibly recommend them for electric work. We asked Brian to wire our living room from our office with cat5 as we had a need for a wired connection. He installed the wire and on the surface, it looked fine. When it didn't function properly, repeated emails and calls to Brian were yessed to death and left hanging. He even lied to say he stopped by our house and left a business card. I eventually diagnosed the problem that he wired the cat5 incorrectly as a crossover cable. Once I relayed this to him, still, he continued to blow me off. I even offered $10 for him to stop by when he was in the area to correct the job he had done wrong and he STILL didn't come. In the end, a friend recommended a crossover cable adapter ordered online and that fixed the problem (as 2 crossovers equals standard ethernet, so the adapter canceled out the crossover effect). So, after 4 months of trying to get Brian back here, I fixed the problem myself, at my own cost. Now, the cable has stopped working altogether and I have no reason not to believe it wasn't the poor job he did installing it. For that reason, I cannot recommend them for your electrical needs.

We chose Black River because they only do generator installation and maintenance. They shared examples of their learnings over the past 10 years, which helped them choose the best parts for the generator installation- and our research validated their choices 100%. They will also service the generator after installation. Work was done exactly as described and ahead of schedule; it passed the town's inspections (scheduled by Chris team) immediately. Cory Roach, owner of All Set Electric LLC, is an excellent diagnostician! We had several problems…read morein a home that had other electricians working on the wiring prior to our purchase and really had a quagmire of problems. Cory Roach is a 6' plus man that worked hours in our 3' crawlspace and after tracing all wires found: - an overloaded Junction box and had to add another to properly accomodate the load - wiring that wasn't functional so he replaced - an air leak in the foundation that we heated with a 5 kW heater and corrected the air infiltration In the house: - he confirmed our two 8' baseboard heaters in the livingroom worked but were not connected to our electric panel - the front bedroom baseboard unit was not working which was corrected when the 2nd junction box was added - 3 outlets in the screened in porch weren't working ever, from the new construction 3 years ago and we replaced with outdoor outlets that had a cover to protect from the outside elements - our front porch light never worked so he rewired it so we could set it to a timer. His dedication to the job was astonishing, even if it meant he had to come back 2 additional times, but still honored his original quote. My husband, as a business owner, knew the time invested suggested a nice tip to his original quote. He installed a new thermostat, and everything that we ignored over 14 years is now working perfectly. I can't say enough about the professionalism of Corey Roach, his electrical knowledge in troubleshooting and his dedication to the best service to provide to his customers. The 5-star review clearly states that I would highly recommend him to all needing an electrician.
