I came in for a balayage and desperately needed some TLC for my 2 year grown out very long hair. Kylie did an incredible job and was super friendly and informative during the whole process. She even came in early so that I would be able to get to work on time! She also gave me a trim and was very considerate of the fact that I wanted to keep the length long. Overall, my hair came out so beautiful and healthy.. I am slightly obsessed haha. I am already planning on coming back in a few months for a trim and touch up!

When the commute began to wear on me, I tried a local salon with excellent reviews and received a terrible cut/color. With a future Tribeca appointment already booked, I stopped into Warwick's Soho Salon for a wash/blowdry. I was greeted so warmly by Joanne at the front desk and my hair looked so great just from a wash/dry, I canceled my city appointment and booked my cut at Soho. That was over a year ago and Soho Salon has impressed me with each visit. I see Caitlin for cut/color, Caitlin and Diana have both done wash/blowdry, and Talia's shampoo and scalp massage is excellent. Everyone at Soho is so consultative, friendly, and professional. Caitlin and Diana are true artists... I don't mean that as hyperbole, Caitlin is a fine artist and her eye for detail and color is superior. Diana's "day job" is doing hair for award-winning tv shows (she is very discreet but I believe she, too, has won awards for her work). Each appointment I'm impressed and inspired by the work I see other stylists doing -- all ages, all styles are represented in Soho's clientele. One thing I hate at salons is being pressured into buying product and I also hate when a stylist doesn't respect how I want to wear my hair and insists on adding waves, hairspray, etc. Soho stylists always ask how *I* would like to look/feel and what products I would like to use, while also being consultative and sharing their expertise. When I've been curious about a new product, they've offered to let me try it in my hair without pushing for a sale and - because the focus is on making sure I'm happy with how my hair looks/feels, when I ask for product advice I end up with someone that is right for my hair type and how I style my hair at home. Being part of the Warwick community, I also appreciate how much Sal (Soho's owner, who is as friendly and good-humored as the team) participates in town events. You truly feel that Soho Salon is invested in its clients and it's very easy to rate them five stars across the board.

I was there for an hour and a half, and mind you I went in with dry hair not wet. I had to completely start over to fix it. I called them back 3 days ago. The manager there, Karina felt that I wasn't worth her time to get back to me. She left me an initial voicemail and told me she was free to talk to me all day Friday and every time I called the front desk girls would say oh she'll call you at this time and then she never would. I also asked for them to get her so that we could speak for 1-2 minutes. She refused because she was "too busy." I finally got a call back from a manager at another location From Eileen. I asked them for a refund since what they did to my hair was atrocious. They keep giving me the run around and even asked me to come back another time ( NO THANK YOU! ). Has anyone else had an experience like this there? I just can't believe how disrespectful they are there and also how awful my hair looked. Spread the word so this doesn't happen to you. I even went to look at reviews and I'm not the only one this had happened to. Looked like 10 other women had just around the same experience as mine. With how expensive things are these days I feel that it's unacceptable. Also kindness go ways further than rudeness.
