The store stayed open also so I could go down and pay the difference in price. I was more than thankful to everyone involved. The delivery and installation was expertly done. I called Dave's because I really want to support local businesses on LBI. I worked with Christine. She is a pleasure to work with. I found the website tough to use but Christine helped us evaluate various replacement products. We bought a new fridge and Dave's installed our LG while we were at our permanent residence in VA. No issues. This week we visited our vacation home and found the ice maker did not work. Christine set up a repair appointment. The repairman arrived and could not figure out how to get it working. The LG product line is a new product for Dave's. He said he would come back on Friday after researching the issue and contacting LG tech support. Ten minutes later, he knocked on the door, came in and told me that LG suggested he reset the ice maker by pressing a a small hidden button. The manual does not mention the process or the button! Alas, the ice maker now works. Great service! A wonderful repairman took the initiative to solve the problem without delay. Who could ssk for more! Dave's provided all our appliances when we built our house 13 years ago. The products are great!

We bought a Whirlpool refrigerator in April of this year ( 3months ago). We are now trying to simply replace what we have or get a new one and we will pay the difference- it is still under warranty, and we assumed Daves Appliance would stand by what they sell. They refuse to remove the refrigerator, refuse to replace the broken unit even though we are willing to pay the difference for a new one and have since stopped returning our calls. They claim this is the responsibility of Whirlpool and they will not get involved. We have called other appliance places on the island to see if this was the case and not one of them said this was the case as they would stand behind a product they sold. Dishonest company

Terrible cust service. Was literally told by the owners son , " Once the appliane leaves here its…read morenot our problem"! Spent 3000 on a washer dryer pair. Was told it was the best they had. It was delivered 2 weeks after I went in and paid for them. On install I asked if they can change the doors so that the dryer was on the left but was told its better the way it is now. They were in a rush and i figured f it... ill do it. 2 days later after install we noticed water in the pedestal. called them and was told not our problem call Electrolux. Had a repair guy come a few days later and said the hose that fills tub was cracked possibly due to someone dropping the unit. They replaced the hose but water had sprayed inside the washer all over componets and still had about an inch of water in bottom of unit that he couldnt get to but said it would evaporate fast. Washer worked for a few days then one day i heard it start by itself... called elecrolux again and repair guy came and said it was the control board. changed it a week later cause he had to order it. Was fine for about another week after board was changed then again, machine started by itself again.... anyway this went on for another 6 months on and off and had more down time then use time. Finally after 9 months of nothing but problems and going back and forth with Electrolux they warrantied it for a replacement. Said original company would replace and install at no charge. Called appliance galley and woman in office said she heard no such thing and they have to wait for a letter from them to replace and then they would have to send a unit to appliance galley for me. Called Electrolux and they said email and letter was already sent and that AG will replace unit from there stock and they get reimbursed from Electrolux. Call AG again and woman answered again statin " that's not how this works and they will not use their stock. LOL. Your a dealer of company why? Again its not our problem. I had to spend another 2 months back n forth fighting and had electrolux hire a company other than APPLiance GALLERY to come deliver washer and install. 11 months after purchase i finally have a working machine . I will never do business with this company nor recommend these nasty ppl. even the owner never returned my calls. Owner, son and woman in office are horrible ppl.... stay far away!

We made clear that we needed it installed and that we would have the key holder open the house for the install. This was not a problem and is the norm for the area. 4 Shore the installer came out and measured, said that they would build a base due to the smaller height, and would have it in within one to two weeks. The oven arrived, installer picked it up, called to inform us that they needed to build a base - (that was to be done prior to coming out). The office worker was rude and made it sound like it was our fault. The next appointment was cancelled after via text following the timeslot with regards giving no idea when they would back. The office worker again was rude and told us we could get another installer if we desired. The third install appointment was missed, we called and were told someone went home sick. We were told that we would have to be present for the install to happen, they were not going to have to keep coming back. VERY DISAPPOINTED IN THE LACK OF CUSTOMER SERVICE FROM BOTH JOHNSON'S AND THEIR INSTALLER 4SHORE APPLIANCE
