"I smell smoke", I said to my partner. Another passenger chimed, "that's just New Jersey". Smoke ensued and my partner had to tell the driver sternly-yet calm to pull over. We did get our luggage off at my partners urging. We stood at the side of the freeway watching the transport go up in flames. Within 13 minutes it was gone and we mentally listened to our flights taking off without us. The company was curt when we kept calling them to get another ride. It took quite some time (over an hour) until we were picked up. I had the worst migraine on the plane from the smoke and my partner bought a souvenir tick from the New Jersey roadside. I hear the pregnant Princetonian sitting next to use found one as well. The company has not contacted us to view the video or check in. Before we were picked up, we waited with another dude. He said he used the same company to get to the hotel and it was the worst. The woman who referred the company to us mentioned that the company isn't very good but it the only service in town. That's about the size of it ~ not very good but the only service in Princeton. My advise, take the train or go by cab with a friend. They answered the phone and suggested we allow plenty of time to get to the airport. The driver was nice but very stressed when he picked us up a half hour late. The airporter was clean but the AC didn't work on a very hot day. It was like taking the Bali transport with tired Reunion revelers. read more

AVOID this company at ALL costs! When you book a 4 pm shuttle, somehow the shuttle always breaks down (see Veda F.'s review below for what a breakdown looks like with this company) and you are caught waiting at least an hour for the next one. When you call to ask where the shuttle is that you booked you get connected to some rude ass degenerate CSR, with the personality of a cardboard box. I booked a round trip ticket on this dogshit shuttle service and will be canceling the return trip. You are way better off either renting a car or getting an actual town car. I'm writing this review from the decrepit Ford E-350 with 690,000 miles and the original factory shocks/struts. This van and company are the ultimate pieces of shit (this van is a death trap)! Did I mention to avoid this company at all costs?? Mid trip update: the driver is now smoking in the shuttle. Also, we've learned that of the 8 seat belts in the shit box van, only 2 are functional (one of which the driver is conveniently wearing). I can't make this shit up people... read more

BEWARE! The driver was 75 minutes LATE for my pickup to Newark airport. This was the second time. The last time the driver didn't show at Newark Airport to pick me up. I called to confirm beforehand and was told the car broke down...twice. I called to speak to the manager Becky who didn't have the courtesy to return my call. I literally made a Yelp account solely to write this review. Back in January, I landed from a long 13-hour plane ride only to be told that my driver thought my flight would be delayed, and so would be 90 minutes late. (Mind you, never once on this flight was our arrival time estimated to be later than what was originally scheduled). Needless to say, I was furious--jetlagged, exhausted, and stressed about being on time to my later commitments. I was kindly told I could cancel for a full refund, and so I opted to cancel the car service and find another way home. A month and a half later, my account had yet to be credited; I called again and was told the refund would be processed ASAP. It's been two weeks since then, and nada. I've tried several times to call again, only to be told that the person who works refunds, Janet, is not around. I understand that somebody might not be in the office when I call, but I would be way more understanding if I got the refund I have been promised TWICE already. My child attends Princeton and has used the shuttle for two years. On September 21st of this year the prices doubled each way without notice or an announcement. In fact, online reservations can't be made at all as of today, November 18, 2018. This is the most outrageous thing I have ever seen. While I will be contacting the school to find out what happened to the negotiated price, I blame Olympic for not at least contacting those with Frequent Rider numbers. This is shameful price gauging! Not everyone who attends the university is rich. Going from $44 to $89 plus fees is an awful way to treat customers. read more

First time using this shuttle today and it was an excellent experience. Called the reservation number and they were very helpful. Paid over the phone. Went to the Keyport ihop and was told to be there 3:20 for a 3:30 pick up. The driver was there before we arrived. He was professional and curtious, helped with luggage. Promptly left at 3:30 on schedule. Made it to the airport within 40 minutes to Newark. FYI Keyport is direct to EWR with no other stops. Very happy and will definitely use again. $30 hassle free. read more

Who else would pick you up at your house in Ocean County and drive you to Newark Airport for $62? I couldn't get my best friend to do that at gunpoint. Clean cars, prompt shuttles, and an all-around five star performance every time, as far as I'm concerned. I could ask for more, but it would be unrealistic. read more

Only positive to say is that the shuttle was on time for trip from Newark Airport. Driver was surly, vehicle was rickety, and didn't use EZPass! He had to stop and pay at every toll. Really? I guess rethinking your business model is in order. read more

I've been using Olympic as my primary transportation option to/from the airport whenever friends/family are unavailable to take me. Prices are reasonable and drivers (whether for private, shared rides or shuttles) were never late. My opinion skyrocketed though after my most recent return - no more than 10 minutes after my flight had landed in Newark, I got a call from David at the company saying he'd seen that my flight had arrived (it landed early). He told me to which door I should head out of the terminal and within another 5 minutes, the shuttle arrived to pick myself and another passenger up. This was great since I was expecting to wait about an hour for pickup given the scheduled reservation I had, which was based on my flight's later arrival. I don't know whether this is an indicator of their merging with State Shuttle or if I just hadn't had the opportunity to experience such a perk before, but it was really great getting home early after a long trip. read more

I waited for couple of weeks to cool down before I would write this review. I ordered a shuttle to Princeton from Newark Airport and a return on a same day by their private car. I had no problems with airport pickup - it was even 15 min earlier. What happened with the Princeton pick up was a total nightmare. Nobody showed up by appointed time, I called the company, they said the driver was coming, only slightly later. I called every 15-20 minutes for an update, and until the very last call (about an hour after the scheduled time) they were telling me that the driver is coming. Last phone call was incredible, not only the driver came and did not find the right building, they did not see me there, and they called me on a cellphone on-file (that was my mistake, I gave them my kid's cell, we were traveling together), but they would make an exception and pick me up in an hour. When the driver finally came, he told me how tired he was to pick up customers his company stranded, because they were yelling and screaming at him. He told me at least three stories, when this happened (to make me feel better, I guess.) He also told me that nobody was sent to Princeton to pick me up earlier, and he came to work at my scheduled pick up time and was in the office waiting for an assignment until an hour later. I hope my experience would be helpful for future users of Olympic Airporter: use their "private car" service at your own risk! read more

I'll walk to the airport before I use Olympic again! I had scheduled a ride to EWR. When the shuttle was 15 min late I called to see what was going on. "Oh, it will be right there" they said. 15 min later I called again. "Oh, the driver said they'll be there in 10 min" was their response. 20 min later (50 min late for those keeping score at home) I called in politely expressing my strong desired to get to the airport. The shuttle eventually picked me up over an hour late and the driver said it was dispatches fault. Needless to say, I was less then thrilled with their reliability. Hoping to clear the matter up with them after the fact I called to complain. I was told the owner would call me back. Yeah, she didn't. read more

We booked a 10 person van to the airport and same for our return.. while the driver was very courteous the vans are in bad shape and unsafe.. I was traveling with 4 adults and 3 children- 2 seat belts were completely broken and non functional on the ride there. For the return our flight landed at 5:45pm and after multiple attempts to reach the driver who was supposed to meet us inside he told us to stand out in the rain and meet him by a doorside pickup- we waited until 6:36pm when he finally arrived.. then the van had been in some kind of fender bender at some point and the rear doors were not functional so we had to load our suitcases in thru the side door and then proceed to listen to the door open DINGING all the way home for an hour.. unreal for $400!! There are no other options in the Princeton area, so if you want a shared ride Olympic Airporter must be used. For home pickups they do arrive on time, although they have recently reduced service to even hours only (so you may not want to book a flight in which you need to leave at 9.00). The real problem is that for the second time I'm sitting at the airport an hour after I was supposed to be picked up waiting for my driver to arrive. If you have somewhere you have to be after your flight, take the train;it is faster and runs on schedule. read more

My friend booked this limo company for our Prom, and they were scheduled to come to her house at 6:30. This limo did not arrive until 7 making my friends and I late to our Prom by 30 minutes! After it was over it was scheduled to pick us back up at 11 and stay at our Prom and wound up doing other routes in between causing it to arrive at 11:20. Because of this we all did not arrive back to my friend's house until 11:45-12ish. Another thing to keep in mind was that our driver was very rude and should not be driving this long escalade limousine because he could not turn the damn thing causing himself to almost crash into a tree! Next year for my Senior Ball my friends and I certainly know not to use this company, nor for any event that we come across! read more

Stay away! We used this service for our wedding party and it was agreed they would send us a 25 passenger shuttle to and from the hotel to our home where the reception was. I have in writing an agreed upon amount for each leg of the trip. Fast forward a month when I see that my credit it card was charged three times and for double and triple the agreed upon amount. When I call to rectify the situation I am repeatedly put on extended holds. I will be disputing these charges with my credit card company. read more

Firstly THEY HAVE MOVED!!! But nothing online seems to tell you that! Secondly, has the business changed hands? It used to be Olympic Limousine and it was a great shuttle service. The vehicles aren't yellow now and it's not a great service (although I'm only basing this on one trip so perhaps unfair.) We'd booked 2 friends on the 3pm to Newark. I went into the office to say we had arrived - it's huge, the employees are spread out and there's no indication of who you should speak to. Eventually someone noticed me. Twenty after 3 and still no vehicle and we're getting worried so I go into the office again only to be ignored, despite standing at one girl's desk (the nearest to the door) whilst they all chatted on. Eventually she asked if she could help me and I asked where the 3pm shuttle is to be told it's about 5 minutes away (by someone else shouting from the other side of the room). Ten minutes later it finally rolls up... apparently they stopped for gas!!!! We finally got my friends onto the shuttle and it starts to leave... then stops, the driver gets out, takes something to his personal car, walks back to the shuttle then they take off again. I may sound pedantic but I thought this was unprofessional. He could've done this 'on the quiet' instead of in front of everyone and THEY WERE LATE!!! I now hear from my friends that they they went to pick up a woman who lived way off the beaten track and in total it took them TWO HOURS to get to the airport! And by the time they got there both my friends were car sick!!! I haven't spoken to the company yet but intend to ask for a refund for my friends. less than 1 star. this is absolutely the worst company I've ever encountered. We waited more than 2.5 hours to be picked up, after repeatedly being told that the driver was only 10 minutes away. Turns out that they didn't have their paperwork in order to provide the service at the Philly airport. I missed my meeting. Then, I got charged twice for the ride and they refuse to refund one of the charges...because the reservation wasn't cancelled (no...it was changed to a ride share to save money). They couldn't handle the reservation change and stuck me for an extra $89. Horrible, horrible, horrible policies, service, and customer representatives. read more

I have found this service to be excellent every time I have used it. My FAVORITE time occurred in a brutal snowstorm when no other services were running from Newark Airport, but my Olympic driver came through and got me safely home. My second favorite was being picked up, not in the yellow van, but in a luxury class white limo because the vans were all in service! Additionally, parking my car at the complex at $2 a day is a whole lot better than any other company offers. All the drivers were fine--no problems. read more

I took the shared shuttle service from Newark Airport down to Lincroft when visiting my parents. Some drivers were very nice, but they left without me TWICE! (I land at 5:00am and have to wait until 6:30am for the shuttle.) They did pick me up at 7:30am, but when I requested a refund, they offered a coupon.
