Let me start by saying I have read bad reviews but I will tell you the care my Mother received was above and beyond what I expected from the ER and every other place that took care of her. We had Savannah doing X-rays she was so kind, Katie our nurse in the observation unit was amazing, John our Social worker took care of our needs. The Physical and Occupational Therapist were so patient with my Mother.

At the age of 1 my kid decided to jump on the bed and what do you know!!! She falls off the bed and breaks her arm. Nonetheless the staff Took great care of my kid till we were referred to a specialist. They wrapped her arm till the visit. Even after all the trauma my STRONG baby still had a smile on her face,! She was always a happy baby. And by the way kids bones heal way faster adults! .Fast and properly it healed! (2021)

This is a one-stop medical center for anything that afflicts you. The center is connected to Franciscan Hospital. While under construction, there's still plenty of parking spaces. Same day appointments are available and wait time is minimal. The offices are larger enough for practicing social distancing, hand sanitizer, and face mask are provided. I often find the staff professional and often changing. My only concern is that when an intern accompany the physician into the room he/she is introduced and get the patient's consent for observation.

Ingalls is now UChicago…read more I have been loyal to this medical center for over thirty years. I have witnessed many changes; upgrades and improvements to the facility as well as the hiring of more highly qualified specialists. Slowly and carefully dealing with the recent passing of my birth mother, my care team has advised and ordered many tests. Most of us are aware that roots run deep. My mom suffered with heart issues and one of those issues caused her death. I arrived early for my bloodwork and EKG. I have two follow up appointments next week and will keep you posted. Everyone is always so nice and professional. They take really good care in making me comfortable knowing my fear of needles. There is one thing that recently disappointed me. That is finding out that my primary care physician is retiring at the end of this month. Something I was not aware of. The receptionist kept stating that a letter was supposed to be mailed out. I'm happy I will get to see her next week, say goodbye and wish her well.

THIS IS BASED ON VISIT TO FLOSSMOOR LOCATION - BLOOd LAB ONLY ON 7/21/26…read more SHEER INCOMPETENCE FROM every single FRONT OFFICE WORKER, NOT TECHS. Waited total 45 minutes to get in for simple blood test, even though only 3 others waiting. I had to wait because a certain employee was the only one who could type my order in system. And, ...finally here she comes into office with a coworker, from outside, carrying food bags, carrying shopping bags, laughing, walking to and fro to desks, back rooms, across waiting room. I knew immediately I was going to be delayed. Why, they're focused on having a baby shower today. Asked if she was on lunch break, her cohort said no, not on lunch. Woman sees me up in waiting room and as she's walking around, clearly not doing her job, sees me holding paper and says I'll take that. And,...another 20 minutes before she gets to her desk. Asked at front desk for manager phone number from woman who actually was checking people in, agreeing with me. She gives me a phone # for the hospital in Harvey Dialysis lab - WRONG NUMBBER. Yesterday advised I am only here for blood test, not MRI listed. ADVISED THREE OF THEM. Today, receive call to schedule MRI. The utter stupidity, attitude of "I'll get my work done with you after I'm done shopping, laughing, planning baby shower, walking around getting nothing done, ..." is OUTRAGEOUSLY UNPROFESSIONAL. You are either WORKING or on a LUNCH BREAK. Since when did low level employees get the idea that their personal needs are met first, during work hours, even though a PATIENT IS STANDING RIGHT IN FRONT YOU? I advised all of them that I was just both injected with implants and was in severe distress. Did that cause them to do their job? NOPE!

Fortunately, my aunt and I called the nurse who ultimately made the call for a rapid response team to intervene. She was then moved to the ICU which provided excellent care, particularly Daniel an RN and DeJuan (?) a PCT. Eventually she was released from the ICU back to a regular room where it seems the care was even worse than the initial room! My mother came yesterday to find my grandmother almost falling out of the bed and in pain. No nurses in sight! She finally found one and had to list all the things that needed to happen. Then I arrived today to find my grandmother's room a mess!! Everyone knows how important it is to keep hospitals clean for hygienic/health reasons!! When I pushed the nurse button it took over 15 minutes for anyone to respond to find out what she needed. Emily the RN was really nice and apologetic, but since this was our second day in a row having problems, I asked to speak with the head nurse. In comes Nekisha...argumentative and defensive. Just terrible. I understand there are other patients, understaffing, etc. but 15 minutes to answer a call is unacceptable. What if there was an emergency? Nekisha was awful in terms of customer service so I'll have to speak with Byron, the manager in charge of the unit, tomorrow. Fortunately, Rodney, the PCT who has cares for her in this room has done a fantastic job. This has been quite the experience. I'm thankful for Daniel, DeJuan, and Rodney; the great physician team; and nice speech therapists.
