We first wanted to go Dutch bros and Starbucks but it was wayyyy to packed! So we decided to come try this place out and OMG IT WAS THE BEST DECISION EVER!!! 100000/10!! They have so many drinks to choose from: coffees, energy drinks, smoothies etc.. they even serve some tasty looking foods. All our drinks were delicious! We've never had drinks like this, if we lived closer this would be our go to spot. We even joked about driving a hour out here just to grab their drinks because they are THAT GOOD. Still 5 stars but updating about food! Muffins and stuff but they have breakfast burritos (eggs, cheese, potatoes, bacon or sausage), and house made biscuits and gravy. We've had it all and it's all very good. Good portion sizes and very reasonably priced. Today we got two burritos, two drinks, biscuits and gravy, a bag of coffee bean, all for about $30. And again, the people are so NICE!! So helpful with recommendations and modifications. And the coffee doesn't ever taste burned! Looking at you bucks! I just pulled away from Olson House with a beautiful half sweet peppermint white mocha. It was only my second visit, but the first time my service was excelent and the second time did not disappoint. The owner was there and he chatted with me about the coffee roasting business. I told him how I'd seen glowing reviews on yelp and I'd have to pick up a pound next time I went through. He gave me a free pound to try! I may just crack it open tonight and give it a try. It smells like heaven. I will update w review of coffee when I get to try it! But you really can't beat the service. Even without free coffee, it's exceptional and so are the espresso drinks I've tried there. I made some! The first time I brewed it too strong because I am used to lower quality coffee. It was still very good. But strong. This morning I adjusted and its simply delicious and very flavorful. I don't see a lot of product companies on Yelp, but I think you need to at least know about Olson House Coffee. I've had their 49 Reserve Roast, and their French Roast I found in SPD Market in Grass Valley. The Reserve is super rich and deeply flavored. And the French is better by far than most every other French I've had. I'd stopped trying them because everyone messes up that fine balance in a good French roast. They have two other offerings I've yet to try but I highly suggest you pick up a flavor if you enjoy great coffee, and like to support local business. Enjoy! read more
