I thought it was the volume pots because I could tap the volume knob and it would sometimes come on. I sprayed contact cleaner on the volume pots and it still wouldn't play. Took it to Interwest and Randy looked it over and said it was the contacts in the source selector. He hit it with contact cleaner along with all other switches and it now works just fine. He wouldn't accept any money but I did give him some after he'd spent the time to diagnose and clean all other switch contacts.

They were able to take it apart and get it squared away with a fantastic turn around time. He traded my old TV that didn't work for a smaller tV that he fixed. It kept having line-in-picture issues. I tried contacting him multiple times from Feb until now as I live in the far south valley and work in Provo, so was never able to get to his shop before closing to work out a trade. No return calls after monthly messages, then this past weekend, the phone is out of order. I made it up to the shop on my way to the airport. I was just going to give him back the broken TV and take anything he had that worked in trade. The store windows are covered with blankets , and thru the holes in the blankets, the store is now bare when previously it was full of TVs. they must be out of business, which is an unpleasant surprise. I am out over $300 for the repair and am stuck with a useless TV gave to me in a trade!
