We purchased a house that has an antenna in the attic but couldn't get the coax outlets the…read morebedrooms to get a digital signal from the antenna.  John scheduled a time to come and look at the antenna, he called before he came and arrived on time.  He was very pleasant about going up into our dirty attic to see what is going on.  From there he was able to trace the antenna line to our basement and discovered that each of the rooms were wired but disconnected from a splitter.  Really simple fix to reconnect and now all the connections are working.  John charged a very minimal fee for the visit and was really great to work with.  Without his help we would not have figured it out.  I highly recommend Olson Electronics and will definitely use them again!

I thought it was the volume pots because I could tap the volume knob and it would sometimes come on. I sprayed contact cleaner on the volume pots and it still wouldn't play. Took it to Interwest and Randy looked it over and said it was the contacts in the source selector. He hit it with contact cleaner along with all other switches and it now works just fine. He wouldn't accept any money but I did give him some after he'd spent the time to diagnose and clean all other switch contacts.

I'm in dire straits needing to hook up this motor with one lost screw common on electric motors. He went in back, heard him rummage in a box for less than a minute, came back and said he couldn't find one and didn't have time to look. I would have gladly paid $5 for the screw, even a $20 minimum fee! The way it is though, I have a motor that likely needs to be rebuilt, guess he doesn't have time for it either.

The "no hassle warranty" turned out to be a tremendous hassle. Multiple trips to and from the shop, transporting the TV each time + bad communication, unreturned phone calls & emails. I eventually did get my money back, but it took over a month, and felt like pulling teeth every step of the way. I am defiantly not a repeat customer.

Came to my home on a warranty repair of my TV. Took the TV apart, supposedly replaced the bad…read moreparts and after putting the TV back together, neither of the two remotes worked on the TV. Instead of taking the TV back apart to identify the problem, the tech said he would have the warranty company send me a new remote, which any fool could have figured out was not the problem because both remotes worked before the "repair". So, I was left with a less functional TV after the repair than before. The tech acted like he could care less and just wanted to leave. I wouldn't hire them again to change the remote batteries, let alone fix a TV. Update: Owner contacted me in response to my review, above. He seemed genuinely concerned about my experience and blamed his tech's inability to fix my problem on limitations put on them by the warranty company. Maybe so. But his concern would have been much more appreciated (and valuable) if it had come at the time of the service and not in response to a bad review. Like maybe if the tech had told him about my outcome and he had contacted me the next day to see if he could help. That's not what happened. Instead, I had to fight with the warranty company to get my problem (which didn't exist before the repair) resolved.
