Lots of things at good prices I always go there looking for certain things. They almost always have them.

It could've been better. The manager was a bit rude and unprofessional, but I do enjoy the prices on books and curtains.

Just left all my merchandise at the counter. Cashier was extremely rude and wasn't engaged in her job duties. Will not return.

They have everything from used CDs to new coffee mugs to my favorite silly post it notes by knock…read moreknock.com. hand puppets, hardbacks, paperbacks, pop figures, movies, t-shirts, children's books. Religious books and DVDs and CDs. They want you to buy a tote for 1$ at checkout which I declined. They don't have bags so if you go bring your own Two bins were marked free; however I didn't look in them. I didn't rate them higher because of the mixture of quality meaning brand new is moved in with used whereas I'm used to booklegger where everything is 50 % off the list price and a better value. Also I think they should have bags for your purchases. It's a big sntorr and it's not arranged to quickly find what you want. Plan to roam around. Picked up some things for mom and the grands. Probably won't go back.

We recently took over $500 (used) books into 2nd and Charles and they said they would text and…read moreemail us once the books were evaluated. I just called since we had not heard from them and they said they finished the evaluation on 5/30 (day after we took the books in) and they said since we didn't respond they gave us store credit of $57.00 and the cash price would have been $27.00. There were books worth over $100 used and they were going to give us only .25 per book. This is a ripe off. It might be a good place to buy books but don't sell your books to them.

The Deep (at their previous location) was my weekly comic shop when I lived in Huntsville 20 years…read moreago (groan). We were in town for a concert and to meet up with some friends and it happened to be "Free Comic Book Day" and we had time to kill, so we stopped at some local shops including the Deep at their new location. They had all the goodies for giveaways-- who can beat 3 free comics plus another 5 freebies if you make a purchase? The companies (Marvel, DC, and the indies) made a good show of rolling out freebies to give readers a sample of current offerings and hopefully they roped in some new readers. It was nice to see The Deep still has a swath of back issues, I was able to cross several titles off my never-ending search list as I poked around the store. They still have a wall of new releases, a ton of games and figures, etc. It was also very cool to see such a wide diversity of readership, people of all ages and backgrounds grabbing up new releases and picking up pull lists. Not sure if ownership has changed in the past decade or more or if it's more to do with the changing vibes of the subculture itself becoming more mainstream and accessible, but it just felt overall more "welcoming" and open than ever before so that anyone can find the book they're looking for and get into comics. Very cool. Plenty of parking. Appreciated the additional 20% off of purchases for the comic book day, and back issue prices are fair--more expensive than some, far cheaper than others.

I love this place, and always will. Been a customer for 20 years. As a tabletop gamer, they have…read moreevery that I need. D&D, board games, Warhammer, TCG's, etc. Their comic selection is outstanding. Just a generally great place to shop. They also have gaming to join, upstairs.
