It was busy but not packed when we arrived, and it looked like the staff was setting up for an event. Books are arranged by genre, with newer titles near the front of the store. I found a few novels I've been eyeing, and the prices are fair. I could have easily spent a few hours browsing ... as easily as I could have spent a small fortune on books. It is worth noting that my husband was disappointed at the graphic novel selection (it was only one small end cap), and sadly he left empty-handed. Even still, this is a great spot to pick out a new novel, and a great chance to support an independent bookseller!

They also carry a wide variety of cookbooks, romance (Emily Henry, Julia Quinn, anyone?), plenty of fiction, and even the popular ones trending on booktok too. Right from the bare minimum classics to spiritual books, religion, philosophy, and all that intellectual catnip, they have it all. Value- I love their deals the most, which also makes things a little difficult because they convinced me to buy more books than I originally signed up for! Why it matters- In an era where most books are accessible at our fingertips, I still love having physical copies of certain titles, and I'm so glad Books-A-Million is helping preserve that experience.

BAM is filled with tons of books; fantasy, biographies, self-help, etc. Beyond books they have tons of my fave, Funko Pops, t-shirts, vinyl records and a huge kids selection. The kids selection is a mix of young adult and toddler books. There's even a clearance section with books 50% off! I didn't buy anything this time around, but I did eye a few Batman graphic novels and a Stephen King memoir. Bonus, there's coffee shop inside the building!

Love Christian Publishers because they have a little bit of everything, Christian Classics,…read moresupplies, a decent selection of Bibles, and even what many would call Spirit Filled or Charismatic authors. They have a little of everything for everyone! Most of the "Christian Bookstores" in Middle Tennessee have been or are denominationaly driven, but Christian Publishers is not. Which is refreshing. I like to read many different authors and have enjoyed being able to find just about everything I've wanted here, and at a fair price and many times cheaper than Amazon! I highly recommend Christian Publishers! Check them out!!!

I've visited a few half price books locations previously with friends but there weren't any where I…read morelived in California. Was elated to find one in Bowling Green after moving to the area. It's a fun way to kill time, wandering the aisles for the next read. And you can get albums for $1 each so I've been rounding out my record collection.
