I mean what's not to love? Farm to table, seasonal menu, amazing food, efficient service, kind…read moreservers, and a beautiful setting. Main Street Farmer Eatery has it all. This is a place we look forward to trying every time the season changes (and definitely the place your local family/friends want gift cards to). My fiancé had the Bahn Mi, I had the Beef Braised Tacos, and we shared the pierogis. Everything was great (and we loved the selection of NA cocktails)! Perfect for a date night

Came in during their last week of the winter menu and glad we got to see it before it was gone for…read morethe season! Although it's a bit of a hike outside the city, still not too bad on a weekday and it was nice to get out and try something new! It seems like an up and coming area for Monticello and development nearby. We came right at 5 when the restaurant opens and got a seat in the high tops. NOTE! If you want to partake in the happy hour, you have to either sit at the bar or in the high top tables. We didn't know this and wanted their chicken wings on the happy hour menu so ended up switching tables. In addition to the wings, my husband ordered the corn bread app which was pretty good too! Wasn't a huge fan of the spicy butter it came with, but strange but the bread itself was good. The wings had a good seasoning and the house made ranch was really tasty! Surprised there were only wings and no drumsticks which I prefer and the wings themselves didn't have a whole ton of meat on them so I'd give it 3/5 on the apps I ordered the 12oz New York strip and at market price it was $62, came with broccolini and French fries. My husband got the turkey burger which he wasn't a huge fan of he said but he enjoyed the fries. My New York strip wasn't seasoned well - if at all to be honest but thankfully they had some leftover A1 from Mother's Day brunch where the bartender made some bloody Mary's so that helped. Can't say the food was a knockout but the service was really good. The bartender who was our server was conversational, great dude, and offered great suggestions. Host and folks were also really accommodating when we hopped around the restaurant so we could participate in the HH. All in all, great experience and nice place to try!

Super cute almost hidden local ice cream shop! First thing I've noticed is that it is very spacious…read moreand very clean! So many places to sit, they even have a table with little chairs for little kids to sit. I went with the ice cream flight that has five options to choose from! Reasonable price compared to other ice cream places and you get a lot. The five flavors that I had were Fat Elvis: banana ice cream with peanut butter and chocolate chips. Zoreo Ice cream which consists of: delicious gooey fudge like chocolate ice cream with marshmallow, Oreo and chocolate chunks. Cappuccino Break: Coffee infused ice cream. Perfect for coffee lovers and topped with chocolate covered toffee and almonds. Praline Pecan: vanilla ice cream with praline coated pecans with lots of caramel! Strawberry which tasted amazing and creamy! A great classic! Overall all the flavors were very delicious! The workers are friendly! Overall a great experience!

When asking where we could find a spoon because there were none near where she handed us our items she gave us an "over there!" like we were the most stupid people for asking. Unsanitary and unwelcoming. Proof that the employees really do make the establishment and this one doesn't have what it takes to get a return trip and I think the employees will be happy that we don't.

This actually a very good place with reasonable prices so I'm probably going to sound nitpicky but…read morethat is my job. My wife thought her over-easy eggs were a little too soft and the coffee too bitter to drink without cream. She loved the toast and the berry jam was super good. I had the salmon omelet. If I ever have it again I'll ask them to leave the feta cheese out. There were relatively large pockets of feta and the flavor just clashed with the overall taste. I was going to leave most of the fried sweet potatoes because I'm trying to cut down on carbs but they were so tasty I ate every last one! The toast was good, but I prefer grain bread. I did manage to leave one triangle of bread behind just so I could tell myself I cut out some carbs. The table they set us at was super wobbly. There just isn't any excuse for that. It would probably take less than 5 minutes to flip the table over at the end off the day and adjust the legs and it probably wouldn't ever be wobbly again. Since it was my birthday I ordered, with a lot of encouragement from my wife a slice of carrot cake to go. That was a mistake! I loved the first bite and thought I was in for a real treat but the texture of the cake was more like cornbread and lacked the depth of flavor that even the cheapest carrot cake I've eaten has had.
