The same orthopaedic surgeon suggested I go to a rheumatologist and didn't realize how hard it was to find one since it is a dying profession.
I booked this April appointment in January and that was the soonest appointment. I was lucky to find a rheumatologist in the downtown area since most of them are way up north and I wanted to find one that was closer.
When I was crossing the street, I saw a long line for this building and I asked someone if this was a line just to get into the building, the person said yes, and so I was like WTF and went to the back of the line and waited 20 minutes to get in.
When I finally got in, the receptionist asked me to sanitize my hands meanwhile there is a dude in there drinking his hot beverage in the waiting area.
I pointed this out and they asked the man to put on his mask and refrain from drinking even though there is a clear sign that says no eating or drinking.
When it was my turn, I apologized to the nurse for being late since I told them there was a long line to get in, and they said I didn't have to wait in that line and that line was for the vaccine.
Annoyed that I waited for 20 minutes for no reason, since someone misinformed me but I am sure she thought I was trying to skip the line.
I just want to say I give 5 stars to Olivia Ghaw. She was super patience and I didn't feel rushed at all. She listened and gave me her opinions and she asked me to send her my EMG results and really happy she didn't ask me to book another appointment just so she could evaluate my test.
She is such a lovely person and I highly recommend her! read more
