Let's get straight down to business: The pork cobs from this place are something else. The pork's delicious, the crackling's doesn't carry a lifetime's supply of salt, the bread is very fresh, the stuffing's lovely and the cost is a mere £1.20.
Besides pork cobs, baps and sandwiches, they also do the usual variety of hot and cold sandwiches you might find in any cafe. Being primarily a bakers though, they also stock fresh bloomer loaves, delectable looking iced doughnuts and chocolate eclairs, custard slices as well as pasties.
I was in there about five minutes waiting for my order to be made and in that time there was constantly people coming in and out of the tiny shop. It may be in a remote and hidden part of town, but it's obviously a popular place and deservedly so. read more
