The employees were courteous and will knowledged on boots and style. They took measurements of my foot insole to wear. I didn't expect to get the boots until after Christmas, I told the manager that I had parties for Christmas and I would like to see if I could get them then. I was amazed I received a call before Christmas that my boots were ready. To my surprise the boots fit like a glove, the size, the heel and insert were dead on. Which honestly was a good deal. Now this where the review turns bad. I went in to buy a new western leather belt, and to browse. I was greeted but I don't speak Spanish so I wasn't able to communicate. Found a nice belt and was looking at some cool hats. I like supporting small local businesses so I found a hat I liked. The belt was $45 and the hat was $32. I went to pay and he didn't give me the total which I expected from the language barrier. There wasn't a way to see the total and he was using a calculator. No big deal, I handed him my card. He put the receipt in the bag and I went on my way. When I got back to my hotel (I'm in Amarillo for work), I wanted to check out my new stuff and looked at the receipt. It was over $100!!! It wasn't an itemized receipt either, but he charged me $95 for the belt and the hat. I thought it might have been an honest mistake, but seemed odd to get to $95, it was like I was charged $50 for the hat. I found a couple of reviews on Google of similar issues. One guy caught it before paying. If you choose to shop at this store, but sure to check the total before handing over your card or cash.
