The seafood chowder had rich and velvety texture, great flavor profile, and generous portions of assorted seafood. All tasted fresh with bouncy texture, but some of the mussels could use a bit more cleaning. Baked John Dory was a great dish. The fillet was baked to perfection, with briny and refreshing taste, spot-on moisture, and silky mouthfeel. The mash and the potatoes were great addition to the dish. My only wish was to replace the fennels with something more refreshing and less dry. Second night I had the roast beef. Portion size was HUGE for the price. Taste was good, very moist beef with rich gravy. Wish they could have seasoned the vegetables a bit more. Overall, a good restaurant, reasonably priced, convenient for hotel residents. Chocolate gift boxes are also available. The staff were friendly and there is free Wifi, you just need to ask for the code. Overall a nice cute cafe, reasonably priced compared to the big coffee chains and open every day. I would compare it to Butler's Chocolate cafe, only cheaper and local!
