Located at the end of a strip of mostly empty stores, this little restaurant has tons of potential and is a gem in the making. The interior is a little dark, but it's clean and inviting. There's only 10 tables(6 are high-tops), ranging from 4 to 6 seats and there's also 6 seats at the small bar. We managed to sit right down when we walked in and folks were waiting for seats when we left. I had the meat ravioli that was drowning, in what seemed to be real homemade marinara, topped with plenty melted cheese. The sauce was crazy hot! and I had to let it cool a little before I could take a second bite. It was pretty good. The Mrs. had the lasagna, which was also very hot and covered in marinara. She really enjoyed hers. Both portions sizes were huge and we struggled to finish them. Here's the reasons for not giving it 4 or 5 stars.... - Our server brought us the incorrect wine that was ordered(white vs red and she seemed to realize that when we questioned it). - The server, in my opinion, should review the "specials" with the customer...ours didn't, but the others did. - Dinner rolls cut in half for "garlic bread"? Come on. - A pretty decent Italian place serving drinks in a mason jar?....no - The house salad was nothing at all to really write about....lettuce, a couple of cucumber, tomato and onion slices and there ya go. - This last one seems a bit odd to me....you can order delivery, but if you do, the salad is NOT included as it is when you dine-in.....there's an additional charge. Fix those few things and I'd be giving it at least a 4 star Yelp rating. We'll most likely go back to check out their other food offerings. read more

What an unexpected, pleasant surprise! We were welcomed as soon as we walked in the door and were guided to sit anywhere we'd like. We were a party of 4; two adults and two teens. The atmosphere was a bit dark, so we opted to sit by a side window. The dining room appeared small, and filled up during our visit. There is a small bar area available, but we only saw that space being utilized for carry out. It appears that it would be a comfortable space to sit and eat, if desired. Our waiter welcomed us and inquired if it was our first time visiting. Once confirmed, he offered to share the specials. When asked his favorite dish, he quickly sold one member of our party on the lasagna. In addition we ordered the Chicken Parmesan and Fettuccine Alfredo. One of our teens ordered the philly steak sandwich, and that was the only choice of the night that was not a hit. The men thoroughly enjoyed their dishes, as I raved about the Alfredo. This was the only Alfredo I have had and enjoyed in this area since moving here in 2003. It was a perfect blend of cream and cheese, without being too rich or bitter in any way. The pasta was absolutely delicious! For dessert we were excited to try the tiramisu, but when informed it wasn't homemade, we opted for a quick cannoli and vacated our seats to make room for others. 4.5 stars Food - The food here is really delicious. I have ordered take out here 2 separate times and it is always soooo good! Their bread is so soft and the garlic butter they give you with it is the best butter I have ever eaten!!! I have ordered the lasagna both times and it is really good. Price - both times ordering, I ordered during lunch and I got their lunch special. They have various items for 8.95. 8.95 is a good price. However, I noticed that their lunch menu is not on their website so I had to call to get it, which is kind of a hassle. According the menu, it seems like their dinner or regular menu prices might be a bit steep. Service - this is what brings the review down, but it wasn't so bad that I thought they should lose an entire star for it. The staff here just seems like they don't care too much about their job. Nice place. Was pretty busy. Nice menu of traditional Italian dishes but alas we ordered pizza which was pretty good. I had a side of sausage with marinara which plentiful and delicious. They had Greek and Italian salads but no Greek dressing, just a commercial Italian dressing. They did not have oil and vinegar! They need to work on the dressings a bit. We will be back. read more

Came here on a date night as we haven't tried restaurants in the area yet and this is close to home. The name is a funny knock off of Olive Garden. We got the pizza and the chicken parm. The pizza here is pretty good! The pasta was nothing special though. It tasted like boiled pasted with a jar of sauce on top. It should have been a warning when the table next to us had a big pile of spaghetti left that they didn't even want to take home. I might just avoid any of the spaghettis with the red sauce. They were busy so maybe their other items are better. Prices on certain items are definitely high though. read more

We were from Atlanta were visiting friends in town. I called in our dinner order and asked to upgrade the dinner salad to a mini Greek. The "manager"-he said call him "V" for short-said there would be an upcharge on the salad upgrade and I said fine. When I got to the restaurant-it was less than half full-our order was not ready within the time given but we waited the extra 15 minutes for our order to be ready. I ran through the tab and noticed there was a $6.00 per salad "upcharge" to upgrade our salads from the standard one to Greek. I asked V why so high on the upcharge and said that there was nothing he could do about it. Anyway so shame on me for not asking but shame on V for not asking me if the $6.00 upcharge per salad was still okay on a $10.00 salad. So I make the 5 mile drive to back where we were staying and when we opened our salads they forgot to put the dressing in the bag. I call the restaurant and asked for V and told him about the dressing. V offered a free dessert the next time we came into the restaurant. I explained that we were 10 miles round trip from the restaurant and a free dessert wouldn't be an option for us. V offered a meal discount and a free dessert on a future visit and I declined the offer as I again explained we were just visiting from Atlanta. I asked V if he would give me a credit of some type on my card towards our $82.00 order and said said "the owner" wouldn't let him as he was only the "manager" running the restaurant that evening. If V is a manager at this restaurant-entrusted with the responsibility-why couldn't V make this right? $82.00 for two entrees, a pizza and a salad which all was mediocre and V "couldn't" make it right? Neither we, nor our friends who live here, will patronize this restaurant. read more

Tried this place for the first time tonight. The staff was friendly but the actual service was mediocre at best. I ordered a Caesar salad and the lettuce came out lukewarm. Then my veal parmesan came out and it looked very good, but I couldn't be more wrong. It is a breadier crust with a slightly off flavor. My son insists it was a frozen crust although I don't agree. After reading reviews I was looking forward to the Cesar salad. I was surprised when they gave the option of regular or Cesar. Well now I know, the side Cesar salad is not a Cesar salad but just romaine, croutons and Cesar dressing (I assume bottled). There was a guy there with a beard (believe his name is Marcus) that kept coming out of the kitchen to talk to the wait staff, it looked like it was was casual talk but when I tried to get someones attention Twice he just looked at me. Eventually I think he whispered to my waitress that I needed help. I don't know if he's the owner or owners son but not acknowledging a customer especially if your the ONLY person in the restaurant is not good hospitality. Then he walks out and just looks at me. Great place! Definitely a bit slow, we were the only people there. On the plus side, service was great and food was fast! My salad came out and the Italian dressing was pretty good. The bread and butter was phenomenal! The bread was warm and soft inside, crunchy on the outside. The butter was a garlic butter, I believe. My husband ate the entire thing before his food came! Lol I ordered the baked ziti and was a little iffy on it, I'm a little picky with Italian sauces but wanted to try it. It was very good! Maybe a little too much olive oil in their recipe, but it didn't have a negative effect on the taste--it was just a little separated looking. So much cheese! Not a bad thing, I promise. I'd definitely get this again, but I plan to try out something else from the menu next time. My husband got the Italian Stromboli. So, he was hesitant because it's $20. This is a cute little place with not much seating, and it gets pretty busy. The Alfredo was on point I had blackened chicken and added some shrimp it was plenty! My husband had chicken Parmesan. It would've been fantastic however their marinara is very watery which caused the chicken to be soggy. It's a shame. Everything about the meal was great except for that. The Caesar dressing is delicious! When we asked about the marinara they said that they purposely add water to it? Anybody ever heard of that? Not me! Tonight was our first night in and sadly, probably our last. My wife ordered spinach ravioli with a cherry cream sauce. The sauce was an extra $4 and probably not worth the splurge. It was supposed to come with a salad, but they were out of lettuce. I could understand if it was romaine, given what is going on, but no lettuce whatsoever was a bit much. They offered to bring more bread as a substitute. I ordered a calzone and it was good, just nothing to compare to V's (I'm spoiled). The overall experience is probably what did it in for us. There was a table next to us that had ordered broccoli as a sub for the salad. They were outraged when there was an additional $4 each for them substituting broccoli for the salad. Apparently the salad is "complimentary" and cannot be substituted... even though they had no salad to offer. Once that table left the table on the opposite side of us was charged an additional $4 for broccoli as well. They at least acknowledged the additional cost, but probably out of fear from another debacle. At this point I think we should change the name to broccoli costs extra. All I can say is that the waitress was great but the food was pedestrian.The dish was okay in that it tasted like eggplant parm but there was no zest or life to the flavor.
