I first learned about it from my LA friends. Later Miniso came to Pearlridge Center in Aiea, Hawaii and, most recently, Waikele Premium Outlets in Waipahu, Hawaii! I like to look at the clearance items! Miniso here featured Harry Potter merchandise at 70% off! Wow! This time, Miffy caught my attention! The makeup brushes, lip balm, blind boxes, and shower gel were so cute! I also was drawn to Snoopy and Hello Kitty... ahhh... kawaii!!! They do a good job of sorting through and displaying truly vintage items at fair prices. Family run, you can find everyone there hard at work and happy to help and answer questions. Good people! They also take in animals from locals in town and host sell. You can usually find bunnies for sale, and even pups from locals (not the business). You can hold them and pet them too! We walked in to see cool things after brunch, and left with a Netherland Dwarf bunny from a family who had just dropped off a litter. We have been buying our Christmas trees here for several years. It is a nice drive up into the…read morehills above Arlington, watch for their signs. They have trees from miniature to gigantic, with various fir tree types available. You have to cut your own tree down, and they provide hand saws, just don't start sawing on a tree you and your group can't finish dropping. The weather has mostly been soggy when we go, on the Saturday after Thanksgiving. This year was a bonus, clear skies and sunny. The ground crunched under foot, but I would recommend bringing your boots, it can be real muddy. Bring the tree down to the house and they will wrap it so that it will fit on your roof rack, or in your truck bed. And don't forget to get some hot cider, supplied on the porch.
