From quoting us for a system, driving hours to do a walk around of our home for the quote. An amazingly driven group of individuals, priding themselves on providing an experience unmatched. There has been one hiccup throughout this entire ordeal and that was from Oncor, the company who delivers our electric. West Texas solar has handled the situation, lack of communication from Oncor and the waiting period with professionalism. As of today our system is up and running and we couldn't be more excited to see the changes that is going to bring! Pricing is fair, honest bids with quick turn around for project completion. I was paying over $300 a month on electrical needs keeping my home cooled at 78-degrees in the summer. After the installation was completed, my monthly electrical charged dipped below $60 (normal electrical and solar fees required by my electrical provider). If I had more panels I would probably had a better buyback from the provider or should I say a better electrical provider. The installation was on two sides of my new home. It was designed so the panels would be in sunlight till sunset. It was also placed so the solar panels would be inconspicuous from the road adding yet another since of security. The batteries were setup inside my gate on a concrete slab outside the view of the road as well. My system might be a little different than most but here's what I wanted installed: I wanted a system capable of supplying power during a power outage like an uninterruptable power supply (UPS) and use the same battery charge to cut down on grid usage at night. After the batteries were fully charged, any excess power be sent back to the electric provider as a buyback plan. What I currently have is a 25 MSolar 410 watt panels, Sol-Ark 15k Hybrid Inverter and 3 EG4 PowerPro Outdoor Rated batteries at 14.3 kWh a piece for a total of 42.9 kWh. I wanted the loan to be less than $300 a month and Mr. Jacob Lopez and his team at West Texas Solar were instrumental in reaching that goal. Jacobs was keeping me informed from his first visited when he showed me the options West Texas Solar had to offer. I'm still in contact with Jacob today and looking forward to future installation of batteries and/or solar panels to reach my goal of being fully independent from the electrical grid/provider. In my opinion I have an outstanding backup/UPS and it only gets better through West Texas Solar.

The workers don't show up until the afternoon, if they show up at all. They ghosted us for a whole week. They didn't bring supplies they needed to work (shovels, post hole diggers, gloves, the right bits for their drills, etc). The manager had poor communication skills with his staff and his clients. This has been a major money pit for us. Everything had to stop for his workers. Four days with no forward movement in home construction is one thing. Having to wait 6 weeks is another.

The 4 stars I'm awarding right off the bat for their professionalism, knowledge of what they do, friendliness, quickness, and fabulous hospitality, and customer service! We stopped by Sunshades today to have the 2 front windows tinted on my new vehicle. My husband, and 3 kids were all with me. This place is a little simple shop, but they have a waiting area stocked with complimentary drinks, WiFi, and a couch to comfortably sit on. The lady that helped us was very nice, and another employee was very informative when I had a question about the quality of the tint we had chosen. During our wait, an older man walked into the shop with a lit cigarette in his hand. My son and I have allergy, and asthma issues, so I feared the worst when I saw that. Keep in mind, the shop did NOT smell like smoke, so I was baffled when he walked in. He was speaking to the nice lady, and perhaps only a minute went by when she said, "let's talk outside so you can finish your cigarette." I applaud that woman for being so clever!! It was the right way to redirect him while being conscious of us, and the man. After he left, she walked back inside, and apologized for the ordeal. No apology needed. She handled it like a pro! The entire wait took about 30 minutes, and just before we left, their beautiful shop mascot walked in to bid us farewell! A big bull mastiff that was a gentle giant! Even HE was nice! ;-)

Dangerous, deceitful, and disrespectful electricians. We hired them to create a grounded outlet for…read morea gfci outlet. Electrician that came installed a bootleg ground/false ground in the gfci outlet, and when we tested the gfci it wouldn't trip/test, but the outlet tester was showing it was correct. Because it wasn't testing I opened the outlet up to see what he did and found the Bootleg/false ground. Prior to the electrician working on it the gfci was working correctly and testing, but had an open ground on the tester, despite the ground wire being in the wall. So we wanted a single properly installed grounded outlet. I had seen the younger electrician do the same thing in the kitchen to another outlet and when i mentioned it to the "master" electrician that was here he caught an attitude with me and tried to talk down to me like I didn't know what I was talking about. Then he does the exact same thing to the other outlet after talking down to me. I have had multiple electricians in other states install grounded outlets for my homes and not one of them installed a bootleg ground. Who does bullshit work-around work like that? Sleazy little low life electric companies in small towns. Bootleg grounds are actually illegal. No legitimate electrician would ever do such a thing nor would the owners of that company be ok with that.
