The bars come in different sizes, so if you want quick and easy-to-handle souvenirs to take home, this might be it. I think the smaller bars were 3.95 Euros while the larger bars were 9.95 Euros. My friend purchased a large box of the round ones before she realized they had smaller boxes and they graciously allowed her to exchange her purchase. Service was very quick and friendly. My friends were a bit hesitant to come here with me because they had no plans to buy any oils or vinegars but after our awesome tour and guidance from Carlos, one of the business owners, they were ALL IN. Carlos thoroughly explained every single product in their store and answered questions like how everything was made, ingredients, quality, etc. We got to taste everything our hearts desired. I ended up buying a couple bottles of white truffle oil, hazelnut oil, date vinegar, and balsamic vinegar. I've never tried such a wide variety of oils and vinegars and trust me when I say this but it's going to be the best thing you've ever tried. Who the hell knew date vinegar existed? It's so sweet, thick, rich, and so delicious. I have no idea how to use it but I wouldn't mind drinking a spoonful everyday. Their balsamic vinegar seriously changed my life. It's so thick and so tasteful just on it's own. I need to throw out my market bought vinegar at home. Once you pick out what you want, you choose the type of bottle and size. If you're traveling, they'll seal the bottle and if you're gifting it, they'll wrap it nicely for you. Superb customer service! We were so hungry after shopping here, Carlos gave us some restaurant recommendations and even called the restaurant to reserve a table for us. He's so hospitable and awesome! Coming from San Francisco, you just can't find anything as flavorful or fragrant as their blend. I'm not talking about those sweat shop bottles you get in the supermarket either, fancy spice shops in the Bay Area just don't deliver either. There's a back room with saffron that is unparalleled and quite affordable all things considered. Typically I'll grab a stash of stuff to take back and some nuts and fruits to eat as snacks for my visit. Really this is a gem not to be missed and if I were local, it would be my go to for everyday spices. Being a visitor, makes it more special to bring back which I do every trip to Barcelona.

I made reservations via email in advance prior to my trip. They responded quickly and seamed happy to take them, as they do book up. It was totally worth it, as the Raviolo with mushroom, truffle, Parmesan, cream, and sausage was one of the best things we ate on our entire trip. Don't miss out on it. Papas Bravas - nicely served with two dipping sauces, one a little spicy, and the other a garlic sauce. Meatballs with Mozzarella and Tomato Sauce. This was served almost as a soup, with bread to dip in the sauce, or in our case we balanced the meatballs, cheese, and sauce on it. Cacio e Pepe - nice and cheesy served with fresh pappardelle. I liked the thicker noodles to soak up the tasty sauce. I noticed the table fighting over sharing this one, which is always a good sign. Carbonara - definitely made correctly here with egg yolk, if you are fan of classic carbonara, you'll like theirs. Served with thick fresh spaghetti noodles. Raviolo with Mushroom, Truffle, Parmesan, cream, and sausage. You can put this dish right next to anything you will eat in Spain (including those having Michelin stars) and it will hold its own. This Veritas is a bit larger than many and offers quite a nice variety of vegan/ vegetarian options. They also have a great selection of organic meats and fish, as well as some prepared foods. Like most organic markets, you pay for the quality of food, so while it's not cheap, it's not overpriced.
