They rekeyed our home after a move and were great. The pricing wasn't as straightforward as the person on the phone just asked about doors while the tech that came out counted the locks on the door as separate. It ended up costing a bit more but not too bad. read more

I recently had locks replaced ,the traditional lock with deadbolt. I exchanged them for the New keypad,finger print and key Fob deadbolt lock. Joshua F. was awesome. He was very friendly talked me through the whole process even though the lock I bought didn't quite fit. He showed me how he could still install the lock And make it look good. I am happy with my new locks but because I'm used to the key entry I'm still leaving the house with my key, (did I mention the new locks come with keys as well) for a while but I haven't had any problems. Joshua set up the app for me and showed me how to change my code, permanent code, one time code Second code even though I didn't buy the locks from them, he was very knowledgeable and fast. I have an old beat up SUV. The electronic lock/unlock mechanism is messed up on the driver's side. I had a pretty rough shift at work and decided to treat myself to some unhealthy food instead of the regular cafeteria salad. On my out from work it began raining heavily. I began regretting my decision until I got to the car and realized I decided to pig out for lunch. Decided to go to Burger King. I drove and get my food no problem. Everything was great. But unfortunately I end up getting some sauce on my face. So in the middle of eating I decide to grab a napkin but could not reach it from the back. I step out into the rain to get it from the back. Somehow I lock myself out of my car. Now I'm getting rained on, wet, outside, with my keys in the ignition. My sandwich is inside getting cold from the AC. I'm locked out of my car which just so happens to have my phone as well. I begin violently trying to pry open my door but it doesn't budge. I try all doors. Even the trunk which hasn't opened in 7 years. I then think to use my wireless ear buds to connect to my phone via Bluetooth. I asked Siri for the "nearest Lock's Smith" and got Oliphants. Within 15 mins they had someone come and open my car. The whole thing took only 2 mins. In fact took longer to pay than to open my vehicle. I arrived back to work on time without delay. They really saved my day. I appreciate their fast and speedy service. Their staff was highly professional and extremely courteous. I never give reviews. Loved the fact that they could come out on same day as call. Called for rekeying 2 doors with deadbolts. Service rep did finish both doors rather quickly. When we tried first door keys would not come out of locks. It took a while but service man did fix the issue. Overall good service but considering price versus work done we were blown away. read more

The young man arrived on time and was thorough and did a nice job on my locks. Installed new locks/hardware on 3 doors and then keyed them, and made me 3 copies. Everything works smoothly and looks nice. My only concern is that he only gave me 1 original key. At the time, I thought that was all that came with the lock, but then I learned all Schlage locks come with 2 keys. I could presume nefarious plans for the other original key, but that wouldn't be necessary because he could have just made himself an extra copy. I'm more inclined to guess that he was less thorough than I thought and never got the 2nd key out of the box. Annoying, but not critical. read more

I had a bad key so I had the people at Oliphant make a duplicate. The people at Oliphant are very professional, respectful, and kind. They were the cheapest out of all the choices I found in the Rockford area, and they tested my key before I bought it. I would give them the fifth star if they weren't in a shady area, but there's not much that they can do about that. read more
