Throughout my pregnancy he always made sure all my questions were answered, conducted necessary tests and referred me to specialists as soon as he realized I had high risk twin pregnancy. He didn't take any chances with my pregnancy and I am very grateful for that also. On day of my emergency c-section, Dr Clare was not on call, however, he still wanted to be there for me and my babies and came to hospital to deliver my twins. His bedside manners are great. He is very patient and caring doctor. God bless you Dr Clare, thank you for everything!

I came in with a high risk pregnancy, and has just moved from Los Angeles. Dr. Clare was very kind, informative, and knowledgeable. He ended up delivering my baby via c-section after more complications in my pregnancy. Dr Clare made the call to deliver my son early, thank god, and me feel comfortable throughout the whole process. I was super dramatic the whole surgery and him and the staff in the operating room were great. I highly recommend him. (Just ignore the staff at his front desk they have like literally no customer service skills. The doctors assistants there are super nice though, And the ultrasound tech as well.)

This is solely my experience. I am not diminishing any one else's experience. I got pregnant in 2022 with twins and had the babies the same year and before I went to Dr. Altman I was being seen as an OB/GYN from Dr. Lacuna. My experience with lacuna was awful. He did not answer any of my questions and his replies would be "we'll see when we get there." After leaving three appointments rushed and frustrated with no answers from that doctor, I ended up doing research and switched to Dr. Altman. I Didn't know at the time that he was the head of the department, which would explain the great experience. Dr. Altman was a very patient Doctor Who would sit down in front of me and look me in the eye as he listened to my questions and answered as best he could. During appointments he was very thorough and explaining what he was doing, what he was about to do or going to do and making sure that he knew what my plans wanted to be (as far as birth). I did not feel in any way that Dr. Altman had gross misconduct, however, I will say he is very sensitive in that if you're having a hard moment, he will put his hand on your shoulder to comfort you. My husband was in the room with me at most appointments (I think I only went solo once and there was a nurse in the room with me and the doctor) and he never did anything untoward. My husband I thought he was very kind. I can see how if you are not touchy feely, that you would not appreciate the hugs or shoulder pats or even the eye contact but again nothing suspicious (and I am very suspicious of men) I hope those considering Altman do so. My experience was great and I also hope the ladies get the comfort and answers they are looking for. Best.

But I went 5 months under their care having every single one of my concerns completely dismissed by both doctors. It was only by the suggestion of another doc (Mathis) that I was referred to a specialist. There we found out I had a multitude of problems. Under the care of the wonderful specialist my baby was born and her life was saved. But I hate to think what would have happened if 1 had stayed. I was made to feel stupid and minimized at every visit. They never even looked at my test results, never gave me results. Never tested my urine in office. Sent me back to work even though was having contractions, could barely walk, raging bladder infection, vomiting and diarrhea. My urine tested positive but was again dismissed as nothing! I would NOT recommend this office to anyone. My life and my child's life were in danger being seen here. The receptionist were kind and friendly. The docs, beware!

One thing that I will say is that the wait will be excruciatingly long, especially if you're going in on a Thursday. When they tell you to allot 4-5 hours even though your appointment is early in the morning, they really do mean it. Another thing that I'd like to add that isn't necessarily a positive are all of the med techs that are "chismosas" (gossiping) in the hallway while people are in the local recovery room. They come in and out of the room to talk about other patients, especially in the hallway, where I don't think it's the most appropriate for others to hear. It did make me a bit uncomfortable, and I could see other patients were a little bothered by it as well. Nurse Linda was absolutely amazing as well as Dr. Vanjani. The patient needs to request to be transferred to the doctors assistant. I said I do not believe it is up to the customer to have to make that request. I feel that since my appointment was canceled by them that either customer service can either make the new appointment ASAP or automatically transfer the patient to the department that can. I also let Natalie know that I did request to be transferred on 7-7-21 to someone who might be able to get me an earlier appointment and was told someone would call me back. I said you are my first callback a month later. This is not an office that I want handling my medical needs.
