I had no idea kayaking would be so much fun. I waited way to long to start. Glenda and I rented a cabin on the Big Cypress Bayou for a vacation and her birthday. Ole Mossy's is right up the road. We went Tuesday afternoon to check out the place. They are normally closed on Sunday and Wednesday, but Robin was nice enough to open on Wednesday so Glenda and I could go. The bayou has paddling trails that have been marked by the state. Ole Mossy's gives you a waterproof map and you decide where you want to go. If you are an outdoor person, you'll love the Bayou. Ole Mossy's has a Facebook page, and you can learn about the different paddling trails on the Texas Parks and Wildlife website. I definitely want to paddle the trail that goes through San Antonio. What fun! You should try this! Bye! read more
