However, as far as dive bar's go, this is one of the best I've ever been to. They were super accepting of this out-of-towner, and immediately accepted me as one of their own. Of course the minute I realized the hotel didn't have a restaurant... my retirement road trip survival instincts kicked in: "Find closest pet-friendly patio immediately!" And WOW... what a find! Uncork'd Wine Bar absolutely delivered! This locally loved Fort Smith spot is known for its huge wine selection, cozy upscale vibe, incredible patio, craft cocktails, and surprisingly amazing food menu. Spot on. But honestly? The service may have stolen the show. Friendly, attentive, welcoming to the BBoyz... just one of those places that instantly makes you glad you stopped there And when they overheard me mention I forgot my jacket in the car... they immediately brought me the softest blanket to keep warm on the patio Now THAT is hospitality. After 21 days on the road and plenty of meals along the way... this was hands down the best "non-home-cooked" meal of the trip so far Rainstorm survived BBoyz approved patio Warm blanket rescue #MilesAndBBoyz #Stop14 #FortSmithArkansas #Uncorkd #RetiredAndRolling #PetFriendlyPatio #RoadTripFinds

If I could scoot past the pool…read moretables and not mess up someone's game, then I might be able to make it back to the hole they call a karaoke floor. Or find the bathrooms. The men's room was right next to the pool table, so watch it coming out, you know, down there. Pool cues cause injuries. If there wasn't literally the oldest people I've ever seen in a bar there (walker included) I might have given it a better review because it was a 'biker' bar. No, it's not a reputable biker bar, it's a hole. A stanky, stanky hole. And I LIKE stanky holes. Not this one. Stinky, stanky, stunk. They do have a camera system which you can see out of this stanky hole with, so you can "watch the parking lot, or your bike." It earned them a 2 Star. If they didn't, you wouldn't be able to see out at all because there are zero points to see outside. Which they said was for 'alcohol laws' to which I immediately said, "what about one way mirrors as windows"? The bartender looked kinda stupefied at that... You would think the alcohol I drank would improve my rating, and give me some warm and fuzzies to make me forget the smelly, karaoke blasting, piss hole I happened to be in, but the beer selection was miserable, and the lighting was misrepresenting "club", and every terrible alcohol you never wanted to drink was behind the bar. You know, like Whipped Pinnacle... I couldn't find enough passable alcohol to drink to make this place better. And that's certainly saying something.

We are doing a long road trip and Fort Smith was a stopover…read more It was a Saturday so we wanted to find a sports bar. This was 2 miles from the hotel and we gave it a shot. Well, from the beginning it was spot on. Arkansas was playing that day so understandably nearly every TV was on that game. We asked our greeter (more on that later) if we'd be able to change a couple of the probably 60 TVs to US Open tennis and the Boise State - Oregon game. She said of course, and placed us in a perfect location that gave us dedicated TVs that did not impact the other folks watching the Arkansas game. Food was typical bar food fare but cooked very well. Now here (more on that later) is my only issue/suggestion. GET NAME TAGS FOR THE SERVERS! Make them in some sport design (Football, basketball, baseball...) When you have multiple people greeting and serving you. It'd be great to be able to say thank you (insert name). We had 4+ servers while we were there. Again, a huge positive, let us acknowledge those making it a good experience.

The pickup area is in a very odd spot. It is pretty much in the kitchen itself. Finally, a guy(whose name I later learned was Gage) literally yelled across at me and asked me what I wanted. Yelling at me and me having to yell back irritated me. He was a good 30 feet away. I couldn't understand him and he was a quiet talker and a mumbler. Then over the course of the next 10 minutes, I had 6 different peple ask me if they could help me. At 715 I got my order. I had ordered Bayou Pasta described as Crawfish and Blackened shrimp Linguine. Got to my car and decided to check it. Absolutely zero crawfish in it. I took it back in. Gage walked over to ask me about it. Instead of apologizing, offering to remake it, or anything else...he broke into excuses. He stated, that it goes on 2 different dishes and not sure why mine didn't have any crawfish. Then, it took 10 minutes for him to figure out how to refund me. Another girl looked at it and asked what was wrong and i told her. She looked at it and said, "there isn't any crawfish in that, we wil have to fix that" I had to ask for a receipt and the look Gage gave me was one of irritation. In Gage's defense, he appeared that he was doing 95% of the work and was overwhelmed. I had tasted it. The shrimp was excellent. The sauce was horrible. A prepacked heat up pouch, i am certain of. Nothing at all quality about the sauce. Stouffers is better. So, I wasted 45 minutes and got pasta without the key ingredient in it. No apology no anything. Horrible social skills and professionalism. Literally, 15 girls running around in short skirts not doing much at all. Needs to be a lot of training at this restaurant. I have been there probably 20 times. 10 of those times i.have gotten a burger. Theor burgers are great. The other 10 times, i have yet to get anything there that is remotely any good.
