I am a writer and my first book (a YA novel) is coming out in the fall. I didn't want to include my pic on the book, but the publisher insisted. He also insisted on a professional pic. I chose Kelly after seeing her great Yelp reviews. And she has earned all the praise, and more! Even before I met her for the photo shoot, she was awesome-- kind, responsive, helpful, warm (and sometimes it's hard to be all that just over email). We ended up meeting at Overlook Park in GT for the shoot, and she encouraged me to bring an extra outfit if I wanted to change (b/c I got 2 different poses). Not only is she just as nice, warm, kind, gracious, and attentive in person, she is incredibly skilled as well. She put me at ease SO quickly (I was SO nervous, y'all!! I'm a writer b/c I want to stay hidden in my words...i don't want pics of me!), and before I knew it, I was actually having fun!! I couldn't believe it. That is a gift Kelly has, knowing what each person needs and then being able to adapt accordingly. I'm so grateful I met her. So the shoot was great, but then I got the proof gallery with SO many shots I loved (it was hard to select just 2, much to my amazement...I had thought I'd have trouble picking one b/c I typically hate pics of myself). So that process was awesome, and then she sent me the edited shots and I marveled at her great skill as an artist. Really, she has such an eye for the art of photography at every single level. We used Kelly Cameron Photography for our engagement photos a few months ago and for our wedding…read morepictures earlier this month. We found Kelly online by accident and are so thrilled that we did! We met with Kelly to go over budget and our vision for our pictures at the beginning of the year. Not only did Kelly work with our budget but she drove down to Houston (where we live and work like crazy) to take our engagement pictures! She helped us with our unique vision for those pictures and the results were amazing! For our wedding Kelly came early and stayed late. She put up with the heat and got every shot we wanted, all by herself. She wrangled our family and friends and was friendly but professional the whole time. She worked well with our videographer, whom she had never met. WIthin 24 hours she had sneak peeks of our pictures up- and when I say sneak peeks, I mean 160 beautiful, perfect pictures ready to go! The rest are supposed to be ready within the month. I can't wait to see what she has for us!
