It's not Generation 3 and those became the norm for QT beginning in 2012. This is QT store #766. It's popular and busy because of its location. It's situated roughly halfway between Atlanta and Athens. I visited this location to fill up on my way from Atlanta to nearby Winder to play golf at The Chimneys Golf Course. I was a little surprised at how busy this place was on a Saturday morning before 8am. It was really busy, inside and out. While here, I saw two different meetups, one of which looked like an import scene meetup. An import scene meetup before 8am on a Saturday? Maybe they were headed somewhere. The gas station has 20 pumps. This one even has a separate filling area for semis (truck diesel). I usually only see those at QTs off an interstate. Like other QTs in metro Atlanta, maybe they should build a new, bigger one nearby and close this one down. This one might be too small for the area now. It looks like there's enough land for them to expand on the current lot or build across the highway(s). It'd be nice if they created access to this QT from 316. As of right now, if you're on 316, you have to turn at the light and enter from Winder Hwy. All in all though, an OK QT. And I'm a fan of QT.

Now…read moreI hear the uproar of the stores being closed like in Cumming, GA and Dacula, GA and other locations. So I had to go checkout the closest one near me in Auburn, GA. The store is a recent store where the old store is next door to it. The store is clean and welcoming. From the produce to the wines to the meats and the bakery, this store surpass most of the ones I have been in. I had to buy the tortilla chips. They are the best fresh chips I have eaten. If I did not have dinner waiting on me at home, I would have bought me a hot plate or made a fresh deli salad. The customer service was great too! I met a woman who was recently transferred from the Dacula store who works in the Florist Department. She was kind and helpful. Check out my photos. This store you have to come support. It is definitely American Owned!
