That being said, whatever the talented crew at Beards do to craft these sweet vegan marvels, I could be turned. We make a special run a few times every week and for good reason. Doughnuts are wholly (and holy) perfect. The scones are just right (I never thought a scone was worth perusing before), the squares, oh the squares (are hip as f&$@). (Very) limited seating, the place is light and airy though with a focus on the (incredible) food and coffee. Lots of people picking up their start to the day from staff that truly cares and is there with a smile!

Usually my go-to is an oat latte, but I asked what their most popular/specialty lattes were and the staff recommended their Cinnamon Bun Latte. I asked if I could sub the milk to oat milk, and they informed me that their base has cream in it and asked if that was ok still - which I said was fine. Didn't realize that the drink was iced until it was ready (would have preferred it hot), but it was actually so delicious! Not super sweet, no overwhelming cinnamon flavour. Lots of seating inside with natural lighting and plants. If I had time to dine-in, I would have enjoyed it!

I highly recommend the spicy wonton soup - it is delicious (not very spicy) and it was FILLED to the brim with wontons - such a steal for $5.95+tax. I had all 3 cheese foam teas (5.75+tax) and my favourite would be the hazelnut vanilla as it was more flavourful than the ice wine, though also good; I didn't care for the pumpkin chai- it was too pumpkin-y for my liking and reminded me of Tim's pumpkin muffins. I had 4/7 regular milk teas ($4.95+tax): Long Island strawberry green tea, mango green tea, passion fruit green tea, Niagara peach green tea and all were good, if I had to pick favourites it would be the passion fruit or Niagara peach. Unlike all the other bubble tea shops I've been to the price includes 1 topping (ie. pearls or jelly); you can add another topping for $1, and there is only one size, which is about a medium compared to most chains - very reasonable pricing. They also sell various take-home tea leaves, paninis, pot pies, and breakfast items like bagels. Only 1 table for seating due to COVID. As an added plus, the owners are very nice.

Very happy to have found this coffee roaster across the street from the arena in Sudbury…read more Catering in the arena didn't offer good coffee so I went on yelp , tadaaaa , not far at all a Roaster with cozy , warm inside and the coffee smells so good. I had a double cappuccino because one of the reviews stayed that they use a lot of milk , the drink was perfect. Not too hot coffee or milk not burned, nothing bitter at all. It's a small place with a ton of roasted coffee, there is a huge list in chalk written on the wall. There are coffee beans in big bags everywhere and a tea menu, also in chalk on the other side of the room. The baristas know the locals by name and joke around with them , makes it feel homey and local. They have cookies that are LARGE and a few lunch items, I didn't try them but am taking a cookie with me. Glad I found this place , I will remember it for the next time around

The WORST part about it? The ridiculously slow speed. It shouldn't take more than a few minutes from the time you order to the time you get your bagel, donut or coffee. One night I waited about 15 minutes just to be served. What they need to do is have a small express Tim's in the bus depot during the peak hours. Simply serve up coffee and donuts. And during the proper seasons, hot chocolate or ice caps since a majority of the people that do come here are between buses, or bus drivers from the transit depot which is right next door. There is wifi and it's fairly quick. Update: The wifi has not been operational for quite sometime now.

This place is so adorable!…read more It was recommended to my boyfriend and I from a Sudbury local and we were not disappointed. We went on a Monday and had their "special" a flight of wine and a cheese plate for one (but was easily shareable between the two of us). The cheese variety is amazing! We got to try so many new cheeses that we never had before. We then ordered a bottle of Chianti and a charcuterie board for two. Again, a variety of cheeses and meats. The presentation is excellent. We originally wanted to buy one of their "cheese advent calendars" but they unfortunately were sold out. Then at the end of our meal, our waitress informed us that there was one cheese advent calendar left and she would sell it to us as the person who put it on hold, never came to get it! I was pretty excited about that! Excellent food, wine, and service! (They also respected COVID protocols).
