I asked if I could sub the milk to oat milk, and they informed me that their base has cream in it and asked if that was ok still - which I said was fine. Didn't realize that the drink was iced until it was ready (would have preferred it hot), but it was actually so delicious! Not super sweet, no overwhelming cinnamon flavour. I had 4/7 regular milk teas ($4.95+tax): Long Island strawberry green tea, mango green tea, passion fruit green tea, Niagara peach green tea and all were good, if I had to pick favourites it would be the passion fruit or Niagara peach. Unlike all the other bubble tea shops I've been to the price includes 1 topping (ie. pearls or jelly); you can add another topping for $1, and there is only one size, which is about a medium compared to most chains - very reasonable pricing. I had a double cappuccino because one of the reviews stayed that they use a lot of milk , the drink was perfect. Not too hot coffee or milk not burned, nothing bitter at all. It's a small place with a ton of roasted coffee, there is a huge list in chalk written on the wall. There are coffee beans in big bags everywhere and a tea menu, also in chalk on the other side of the room. The baristas know the locals by name and joke around with them , makes it feel homey and local. They have cookies that are LARGE and a few lunch items, I didn't try them but am taking a cookie with me. Glad I found this place , I will remember it for the next time around

Never a dull moment at the downtown Tim's. The WORST part about it? The ridiculously slow speed. It shouldn't take more than a few minutes from the time you order to the time you get your bagel, donut or coffee. One night I waited about 15 minutes just to be served. What they need to do is have a small express Tim's in the bus depot during the peak hours. Simply serve up coffee and donuts. And during the proper seasons, hot chocolate or ice caps since a majority of the people that do come here are between buses, or bus drivers from the transit depot which is right next door.
