One of the worst schools I've attended in my life. Do not attend here as you are better off in the…read morespecial education program, an IEP/504 plan, and/or accommodations in a normal public school. For an alternative school that specializes in the care of students with disabilities, they've made me worse over the years. Favoritism is extremely apparent, punishments/resolutions are unfair, and they do a poor attempt at handling harrassment between students in this school. Disgusting behavior all around. A girl wanted to fight me as she was under the assumption I liked her boyfriend when I've sat next to him once as there was no other seating. Petty behavior. She took it out on me despite having 0 interest and a partner already. Staff, teachers, and therapists knew the situation yet scolded me for something I didn't do at all when she was the one who made violent threats towards me for no reason and I reached out to them to get it to stop. Favoritism is awful, and it's unfortunately common in these types of schools. The harrassment only stopped when I graduated January 2022. In addition, they have little to no concern for safety. While I attended, there were lockdowns and code yellows ever so often due to the location being near a prison and overall poor area. Doors constantly left unlocked and staff opening and leaving doors open. I've reported a lack of safety concerns multiple times, and they do not care whatsoever. On top of negligence and poor safety protocol, please do not expect a good education. Students are expected to ONLY do one question per class or a "warm-up" as their activity. Very little nurturing is involved, and it will only make it harder when student graduate attend college as they would be severely behind like I have. They only see you as someone to babysit and not even properly discipline or care for.

Our littlest one has been attending this school since she was 10 months, she is almost 2 now. I…read morehave never had any problems with this school at all & I wish we knew about it sooner so we would have sent our oldest daughter there. They treat our daughter and us so well. I love her teachers and love the director. They are very down to earth and always caring & compassionate towards the kids. I highly recommend this school to everyone. You will not be disappointed.

Im not sure why Yelp doesn't believe the other reviews are credible. I agree with those reviews…read more We had tried BBI, a much more strict and expensive school, but one of our boys was being bullied by both the teachers and students. He was frequently left out, sent to sit with the office manager (bc the director was never there), called names, and accused of having bad intentions for simple accidents or misunderstandings, which only made him less interested in participating. After that horrible experience, my main objective in searching for a school was finding caring teachers. I found caring teachers at Kids. My active child is no longer being publicly shamed for doing silly things like a yoga stretch in the classroom. Both of my boys' personalities are accepted and cherished, and they are both doing well at Kids. The VPK classroom keeps Kindergarten preparation fun and effective. They offer a weekly Soccer Shots class for an additional fee that combines the ages, starting at age 2. They also have an optional yoga class and optional pizza day. Sometimes they have events like pajama day, or events inspired by the books they were reading like a breakfast party for reading If You Give a Pig A Pancake. Another good thing about Kids is that they are very transparent, posting the curriculum and books they are reading, as well as welcoming parents at any time. I believe the teachers have a good balance of enforcing classroom rules and being patient and understanding enough to support a child who is still learning how to follow those rules.

Since the preschool transitioned to new ownership, Tina is honestly the main reason my child and I have chosen to remain at Education Station. She has consistently upheld the promises she made to us about keeping the children safe and maintaining a supportive, structured environment. She takes the time to listen to parents' concerns and requests, including those regarding curriculum and the needs of individual children. Ms. Stacey also brought that same level of care and dedication while she was there. Since she has been gone, I've really relied on Ms. Tina and Ms. Alicia. Ms. Alicia is also amazing, and together they have continued to provide the support, protection, and educational care that parents hope their children receive at school. Tina has always been professional, responsive, and thorough--especially when it comes to communication and documentation when needed. She has also offered genuine support and help whenever questions or situations arise, which means a lot as a parent. What stands out the most is that Tina truly cares about the children and the relationships she builds with families. She is kind, compassionate, and trustworthy--qualities that are incredibly important when someone is responsible for helping care for and guide our children during their school day. The kids clearly love her, and it shows in the way they interact with her every day. I trust Tina completely in the role she plays at the school, and I'm very grateful for the care, dedication, and professionalism she brings to Education Station.
