A pretty large Old Navy along a strip mall. They had a wide variety of items but were sold out of a lot of product. There is absolutely no reason that the line to exchange two pairs of shorts on a random Saturday afternoon in the month of April should take 30 minutes to get through. Every other store I visited at the Mayfair Collection had a wait of less than 3 minutes, why can't Old Navy get it together? This rating is solely based on this location itself. I enjoy Old Navy as a whole because they have a nice mix of trendy and classic pieces, and you usually can't beat their prices. This location is slightly larger and I like that it's a stand alone. However if you want to not go insane then I suggest you get there the second they open on any day of the week. They are woefully understaffed at this location which leads to insanely long wait times and the store always looking like a tornado went through it. This location specifically could be fantastic due to its size, location, and just because it's Old Navy. However until they are adequately staffed to reduce wait times and keep the store in better condition, it will never rise above 2 stars in my book. read more

Old Navy needs to figure out a better way. Like other reviewers have said, it's a complete mess. I feel bad for the employees who are fighting a losing battle with that store. I make it point to avoid it, as they don't carry tall sizes in store. If I can muster up the courage, and want to dig through the clearance racks, there are crazy good deals to be found. They've got a great selection of cheap clothing, but it's just not worth the struggle of visiting the store. We usually only visit here if we have returns, and they usually have a decent sized line going every time. I think they've improved on that, because usually something about the checkout process is overly complicated and takes a long time for the sales associate to figure out. Tried on clothes and then went to the cash register to check out. Two young girls were folding clothes giving us the side eye and said nothing. Then I walked up and set my stuff in the counter (they would clearly see me but didn't want to make eye contact) and proceeded to fold clothes at the register and not ring me up or say a word for 3 mins straight. Then one girl says "she's training" and I said okay and kept standing there. No one rung me up or asked if I needed to cash out so I left with my stuff in the front counter and they didn't say anything. Not sure how they expect people to buy stuff if the workers won't ring you up. I love old navy In my hometown but these workers seemed to care less to be there. read more

Great clothing at reasonable prices.. This location is, most often, in some state of disarray when you walk in. It looks messy. There are always tables of merchandise which should look neat and orderly, but they never do. I don't think the staff can keep up with all the folding. It looks like customers just walk up to the tables, pick up every folded article and drop it in a pile. I think the disorganization is why I always have a hard time finding anything in this store. I can never seem to locate my size or style. However, they offer a buy online; pick up in store option. I find this to be so much easier! It turns out they always have my size when I buy online and pick up at the store. Plus, the pick up process is super easy. You get an e-mail, within an hour or so after placing your order, saying it's time to pick up your merchandise. They have a desk next to the checkout with a big sign labeled for online pick up orders. You don't even have to wait in the checkout line. You can just walk right up to the online pick up desk, an associate will scan the barcode from your e-mail and hand you your package. You're in and out in less than five minutes. The process is really nice. read more

I can see why the reviews aren't so stellar but when comparing this old navy to other locations, I'd say this one is worth 3 stars. Sure, there's always a wait in line even in the middle of the day on a Tuesday. But sometimes they have pretty excellent sales and you scurry out of the store hoping no one stops you and says that everything really wasn't 40% off. The sale racks get pretty torn up but this location is actually pretty well organized- sure a medium will get stuck with the larges but it just means you gotta look through every size rack cuz you just might find a deeply discounted top in your size. That being said, this is not for the faint hearted, if you're not up for going on the hunt, stick to the regularly priced items or listen to the other reviewers and don't go in the store at all. as many other reviews say the same, the store is always VERY messy, things are never on the racks or nicely put back on the shelves they have no organization what so ever. Everything is not in its place where it should be very unsatisfied. The lines are WAY to long and they are never actually doing there work they are talking with there coworkers. Again with the line thing for dressing rooms its never organized and people are always leaving there clothes in there so there are no room for you and your clothes. The hooks in the dressing rooms are very annoying and can only hold 3 hangers on each hooks there are 3 hooks in all on one side but you end up only using one because of all the extra clothes from the people before you they could add three more hooks on the other side or something. Bought a ton of items online and came in to return five of them. All rang up except one. Even though I have the online confirmation and the invoice that came with the order, and the tags are still intact. The cashier says she doesn't know what the problem is. Reads me the error message. Then basically shrugs and says there's nothing she can do. I push, and she asks "so like.... do you want to like talk to a manager?" I say yes and they have me wait on the side... where I stood for over 10 min. A manager finally came and after another 10 minutes it was discovered that the cashier DID (unknowingly) ring it up in the first place so the entire debacle was for nothing. Now, 40 minutes in, they then tried to explain it as if I was the one who said it didn't ring up correctly, when she was the one who told me it didn't. I got a halfhearted "sorry you waited..." This store has definitely gotten better Over the last year. Things are semi organized but way better than how it was. I can actually find the size I'm looking for now without digging through a big pile. The photos for here isn't the same. Is there a way to add different photos? I only visit this store to try clothes on and then order them online. I've wasted too much time waiting in line when they've got 4 staff members (that I can see) and only one or two at the registers. It doesn't seem to matter to them that a customer can stand in line for 20+ minutes at even low volume times. The staff that aren't at the registers don't appear to be doing much - why not have them help by checking out customers? I like the location, but unless there's 3 people or less in line, I will not buy there. read more

Very poor management... 2 lines opened on a Saturday and the wait in the line was 20 minutes. Cashier rang up a clearance item and didn't take off the right percentage. Let management know and they were not helpful at all. She admitted that the wrong sign was up and stated we had to get back in line. We had to get back in line for 30 minutes and my sister had to go ask the manager to open more than two lanes. Was told they were short. If your line is to the back of the store, as a manager you need to open up a lane. Ended up just returning everything we had bought. The manager was not apologetic at all when we told her why we were returning the items. A simple apology or acknowledgment of your customers goes a long way with me. I probably wouldn't be writing this review of their management was better. This is just a rating for this particular store in Wauwatosa, WI. I highly doubt I will be going back. read more

This place is a total shit-show. I've been in thrift stores that have better merchandise, are better organized, and better run. If you have some snot-nosed rag-a-muffins, I expect this is where you buy their clothes. I saw some little kid today (about 8 or 9 years old) pick up a pair of boxer shorts off of the floor and stick them on his head. He says to his parents "Hey Mom, Dad, do you like my new hat?" to which the parents who had noticed that I had been watching this replied to him "now Aiden (or Brayden, Cayden, whatever the hell the kid was named) put those back where you found them." So the kid pulls them off of his stupid head and tosses them on the floor. Again prompted by my attendance and not wanting to appear to be terrible parents, his parents snap back " no, put them back on the rack you found them, not on the floor." The kid whines back "but I did find them on the floor." No longer horrified at all that their rugrat picked a pair a grody underpants off the floor and pulled them over his head like a stocking cap, they just kept walking like it was a totally sensical response. These are the people who will one day pay for my Social Security: underwear-cap wearing rag-a-muffins. No, not for me. read more

I took my boys school shopping and found a lot of great deals. I had also seen a Navy blazer online but was disappointed not to find it at the store. The young man at the register asked if he could look it up, and along with another young man from stock they located a black blazer, which I was ready to purchase. Management here is obviously lacking any serious retail experience. There was a soda spill by the maternity/newborn/male toddler section that a staff member obviously thought putting a simple wet floor sign over it would "fix" it. There was not enough staffing and did not see any managers on the floor try to help matters. It was a 25 minute wait in line, due to cashiers were being pulled away from counter, when their requests for help were unanswered. When my husband and I finally got to check out and leave, we watched about seven girls walk out who were new hires and I said "welcome to hell". Seriously, go to Southridge, where the management give a darn about their staff, store appearance, and customers. Never again. read more

This store puts full-priced items on tables with "sale" signs and then refuses to honor the sale price. Very misleading. Both the clerk and manager were very unprofessional when I brought it to their attention. The price scanners in the store are also non-functioning. Overall, the store is a mess with long lines and usually only 2 associates at the register. Don't waste your time with a trip to the store. This Old Navy location is the pit of despair. That's dramatic, but mostly true. This location moved from Brookfield Square about a year ago, and I miss the old location so much. I used to stock up on all of our families basics, and the store was fully staffed with friendly employees and ore than one cashier. WHAT. HAPPENED. I have been here about 5 times in the past year, and every time it's the same awful, awful experience. I only come back because I keep thinking things might change for the better. My fault. First, the state of the store. It's in total disarray. Clothes scattered everywhere, the dressing rooms are filled with discarded clothes. The kids' sections are not clearly marked and everything runs into everything else. But that I could deal with. If not for the staff!! Oh my gosh. First of all, they are woefully understaffed. They have one miserable person staffing the mess of a dressing room, and 1 or 2 people at the checkouts, usually 1. WHY ONE PERSON AT THE CHECK OUT? You have like 6 cash registers!!!! You can never find a staff member if you have a question, because the one staff member is trying to check out a huge line of guests. In half the times I've been there, I gave up and just left without purchasing anything. The line does not move, ever. But recently was the worst experience. I had 5 items, just 5 items to purchase. I was there on a Monday afternoon, with only a few other shoppers. I thought, wow! This will actually be ok. NO. The employee at the cash register looked like she had just come in from bar time, and she had a wicked cough. She was wearing a sloppy sweatshirt, black leggings, and winter boots. Her hair was a wild nest of a tangle. She kept coughing on me, and on my items. She couldn't get the tape receipt to work, and she told me all of my items were 40% off. Well, they didn't ring up as 40% off, so she called a manager to come up. The manager was quite rude, and just told me, no, that sale ended yesterday, and just glared at me. I didn't say my items were 40% off, THE EMPLOYEE DID! Sheesh. The manager left. No other employees were working, the line is building behind me, the coughing is happening on me. I would have left, except then it was all over, thank god. I think I will do the rest of my Old Navy shopping online, thank you. read more
