As a customer of…read moreExpress for over 15 years, I am highly upset of the new third party vendor, BB Dakota, that they use on their site. I placed an order over 2 weeks ago over $200. That order is still in processing and has not shown shipped. I called Express customer service for a refund. Then in return, they tell me since it's a third party vendor they can not process my return and I need to contact BB Dakota on my own, via EMAIL only. Another upsetting action upon Express. You are quick to take my money, however to get it back I need to jump thru other people. I sent the email to BB Dakota. I immediately get a response in what appears to be a generic email they send automatically for refunds, telling me I have to wait 2-3 weeks for an item to be inspected before getting my money back. UNACCEPTABLE! These items haven't even left their facility. I will NEVER order from BB DAKOTA again.

In less than five minutes in the store, the three associates working all surrounded me from different angles but neither greeted me nor asked if I needed assistance. I worked in retail almost 30 years. I know when I'm being profiled. If you want drab colors and are a size four this is the location for you. To prove my point, I asked the associate if they had any dresses. They had one, in black and the largest size they had was a 6. The Lululemon website has a total of 21 dresses, but they only have one option in this location. This is possibly my third visit to the location and each time I've left unimpressed with the selection of items offered. I don't have to visit this particular location any longer. The location near Lenox has friendlier associates and they carry an array of sizes.

The staff is friendly and helpful (usually-on my most recent visit there was an entirely new staff set that had never seen and it was def different than normal) I am a pretty regular Madewell customer and this is my go-to local store-I also worked at the old in mall location a decade ago so when I say I am a regular, I really mean that. Large sale area. They seem to gather most of the accessories and shoes. And they get the trendier things that other locations don't, but not a huge quantity. I do wish they had a men's section at this location and I truly do not understand why they do not while other, smaller locations do. They also seem to be less likely to get a large stock of items and I do find that I need to go elsewhere (I'm someone that needs to try on before buying and prefers to do so rather than buying blind online and having to return) Also just a note: most of the photos on Yelp, are not of this location (nor are they of the old location)

Years ago, this store was thriving with lots of clothes and was just overflowing with products. I don't really shop at UO anymore but I recently came here before xmas and the line was very long but I decided to wait patiently in it. Upon entering, there were a lot of sweaters that I saw but once you pass that first part of clothing, there isn't much else to keep you there. They have a nice clearance section but the "sale" is like maybe only $10 off a $40 t-shirt. There weren't a lot of vinyls to choose from which was a bummer and the home section was very sad. If you are looking for something specific, I would check with them beforehand to make sure that they have it before going. If you're just browsing, I would spend your time elsewhere because you probably won't find what you're looking for here. All in all, I was reminded why I don't shop at UO anymore and if I do, I prefer driving all the way to Avalon or just shopping online.
