In the early 1990's the Dayton Hudson Corporation was looking to create a lower priced version of Gap. They took the Gap Warehouses and renamed Old Navy after a bar in Paris. The first stores opened in California and were set up to look like grocery stores with shopping carts. Now there are over 1,000 locations and Old Navy has branded itself as the place to go for affordable clothing for the entire family. This Old Navy Outlet store is located in Dolphin Mall. It is one of 200 plus Old Navy outlet stores. You can find it in Playa 2, near Nike. I was pleasantly surprised at how large this store is. It feels vast. A regular Old Navy is inexpensive so at the outlet you can really take advantage of rock bottom prices. The store was fully decked out in the men's, women's, and children's departments with a summer line of clothing and accessories. I couldn't resist a Vacation Vibe tote for only $10. The floral summer dresses were really light and pretty. They also had fun summer print t-shirts that were only $10 if you bought 2 or more. I especially liked the Americana prints perfect for Fourth of July. They even had some Disney apparel. For even more savings, there was a clearance area in the back. I actually hadn't been to Old Navy in awhile and visiting this store made me see I have been missing out on some cute clothes. read more

Outlet store located inside the Dolphin Mall. Store was reasonably organized for a factory store. Mens section had a decent size. Old Navy does carry some nice looking clothes, but, from my experience, most of their stuff, aside from activewear, is of below average quality and will not last in good shape very long. They are, tho, an option for toddler clothing, since they are usually inexpensive and kids will just ruin them anyway. read more

If you'd have asked me 5 years ago about Old Navy, I would've given any one of their stores 4 stars, no questions asked. They had decent quality clothing, they carried many of the same types/styles of shirts and some other fashions that you'd find at more expensive and trendier stores, and lastly, their prices were really reasonable. Fast forward to my exeriences with Old Navy over the past two years or so, and although the cheaper prices are still there, the quality has definitely gone down considerably. While their t-shirts and casual dress shirts were once relatively well-made, many of them are now so cheaply made that the t-shirts are wrinkled constantly when you wear them, and you can nearly see through their white t-shirts after a washing or two. The inks in their silk-screened t-shirts and polo shirts fade after a few washes as well. Mind you, I don't expect the stuff to last forever and since it's so inexpensive I don't feel bad about tossing it after I've worn things I've bought from here a few times. However, their quality has become so poor in some cases that, except for maybe cheap workout gear or stuff to wear when I know I'm going to be sweaty or dirty, I hardly bother anymore. read more

When you go to one Old Navy you pretty much have been to them all. The one reason l am reviewing this one is due to the OUTSTANDlNG service l received on my last visit shocking me to no end. When l told the guy at the fitting rooms that l had wanted this outfit l was trying on in a different color he TOOK ME OUT THERE and helped me find it. He took his time helping me and didn't seem rushed. Coincidentally he ended up being our cashier too. Great service all around. l don't know what was in the air, but l was getting unusually good service at Dolphin Mall stores. This one stood out the most. l hope they keep it up, it made my visit very pleasant and l will definitely return. read more

One Old Navy = all Old Navy stores - I have found them to have good value for Khaki pants, blue jeans and cargo shorts - the shirts and Tshirts are almost wear and throw away. They look pretty crappy on the displays and look even worse after the first wash. Redeeming value - reasonable prices. read more

I never had to complain about Old Navy until this past Saturday. I came in to make a return with receipt and everything. I told the cashier that i would like my return back in cash since I paid with my debit. She went ahead and did the return and gave it back to me as credit. I asked why credit??? She replied by telling me that i must have pressed credit. WHAT??? I told her that was incorrect, i put my pin and my receipt says debit not credit. Then she tells me that i must had put the chip. I said of course i did. My card has a chip and i cant swipe unless the machine tells me to. She said that their system is like that. If u put the chip in and put ur pin is considered a credit. BULLSHIT! i was so mad about that whole situation that i probably wont be shopping at old navy for awhile. Consumers beware! ALWAYS TELL UR CASHIER UR PAYING WITH DEBIT OR WELL U WILL C. Like another reviewer said, once you've been to ON, you've been to all of them. Except... today's experience sucked. I was looking for a cardigan in a specific color and size. They had it.... on display, up high above where short people like me cannot reach (where are those damn hanger poles when you need them?) I asked a girl to get it for me, she said she couldn't. I asked to speak to the manager, figuring I could use my gift of gab and talk the sucker into it- but no luck! He refused, stating he couldn't take it down until "every item was sold out." I said "yes, i know, that yellow cardigan is sold out, so that's your last one therefore I can have it" he insisted every item in ALL colors and sizes must be sold out before he can take it down. Bullsh-t! I told him this display was false advertising as that color was NOT available, and even suggested another color (which would've looked cute too) to replace it and no... the douchebag said NO. Damn him. I even asked what would happed if he turned away and I managed to get it down, could I have it then? Nope. No luck. What an absolute douche. I have been to every ON in Dade county and have taken stuff off manequins countless times, both on my own and by friendly staff. This guy was a complete d--ck. i have come to LOVE the selection of baby and toddler clothes that Old Navy has. i've been coming to this store lately to shop for my little one...such cute (and affordable) clothes! for the most part check out lines are always long- that's the only down side to this Old Navy. read more

I've shopped here around 5-6 times, and i love it. The quality of the clothes is perfect, although you see some clothes on the floor and some of its employees don't bother to pick it up. But it's all good, i buy my v-neck shirts and pants from this store, will definitely recommend this store to friends and family. read more
