The really appalling part was I was here for almost an hour trying on sizes, maybe needed to try on one or two more, and 10 minutes before close the staff completely disappeared to start closing up. The second it hit 5:00 locked the front door, turned off the music, started counting cash. Ended up leaving empty handed because they just made it way too uncomfortable to stay. Really torn if I will go back. I get that this is an inexpensive, relatively low-end suit store, but you can't sell suits with the level of customer service I'd expect from an American Eagle. Really don't recommend this place for anyone inexperienced in buying suits and needing a hand.

For my first time going to Bluenotes it was very unsatisfactory…read more I went into both stores in Kingston, the division one had rude customers that said belittling things to me when I entered and when I went up to the worker there she was snippy and short with me saying "I don't have that here" and turning around walking away. I called the The Cataraqui Mall location to see if they had what I was looking for and was told over the phone they had multiple sizes and colours. when I got there they didn't have what I was looking for but the workers here were nicer then the last store. very frustrating to waste my gas going there for nothing and I they couldn't tell me if they were getting more in stock or not.

I had my birthday yesterday and my mother bought me a wonderful gift certificate for "Felicity and…read moreFritz" and independant store in downtown Kingston, Ontario. I went to the store on the hunt for a new purse. You have to know that purses in this store cost between $115 - $435. I didn't see anything that I like in the store so made my way to the other store uptown also called "Felicity and Fritz" and owned by the same owner. I found the most gorgeous purse there and proceeded to the cash. When I handed the cashier my gift certificate she sorry, this can only be used at the other store (2 blocks away). The cashier called the owner and she said No as well. I proceeded to go to the other store and spoke with the owner, explaining that I found a purse in her other store. She still said no, she could only honour the gift certificate at the one store. I asked why? You are the owner of both stores? She said yes but she had 2 different computer systems and one store would recognize the other. I still dont get it - The other store is closing so all the left over merchandise will be transferred down and sold in the one store anyway. She is the owner and has the authority to make decisions. So now I am left with a gift certificate that I cannot use. They were happy to take my poor mothers money but will not let me make a purchase in the one store. If you ask me a bad way to do business. I will never buy anything there, neither will my mother or any of my friends and I am going to keep making sure people know about this. You know the old saying - I tell 10 people and then those 10 people tell 10 people and so on... Awful price to pay for a lousy purse.
