My boyfriend, however, comes in here multiple times throughout the year and I accompany him. The main reason he chooses to shop here is because of the quality of their clothes. For an 'XL' man who enjoys working with his hands in his spare time, this place offers him shirts that last through years of laundry washes and jean's that don't rip when he kneels or bends. DXL does tend to be on the pricey side, but to counteract their prices they send out lots of coupons for their rewards members. He has received coupons before his Birthday and Christmas, that I know of, as well as other standard coupons that are sent to all of their rewards members throughout the year. A lot of people think this place sells dress clothes only, but they're wrong. They have sports apparel, graphic tees, jean's of all fits, accessories, dress shoes and sneakers, and even their own fragrance Zephyrwood cologne/candle/air freshener/lotion. This is just to name a few. The employees at this particular location are quite knowledgeable about the apparel they sell. I have heard them discuss the differences between different types of jean's materials, watched them help a customer build a suit for a night out, and even give tips about what they think looks best together. They're great assets to the store. 5 stars.

Retail stores present a good number of options for clothing (e.g., Dick's Sporting Goods, LOFT, and Rally House), footwear (e.g., DSW and Shoe Fly), home goods (e.g., Costco, Lowe's, Michael's, Mattress Firm, and Petco), and health and beauty products (e.g., Bath & Body Works, GNC, and Ulta). Current entertainment includes AMC movie theater, Barnes & Noble bookstore, Dave & Buster's, Improv comedy club, Paint Monkey, and Urban Air Adventure Park. Other current businesses are a few banks, a few hotels, some cell-phone stores, a gym, and healthcare providers (e.g., dental and vision). They carry men's, women's, and kids shoes. They carry pretty much all the exclusive Alife shoes, Air Jordan's, Air Max's, Air Force Ones, Nike Boots and Timberland's among other shoes and boots. They also carry lots of men's and women's clothing with brands such as Akoo, Artful Dodger, Black Label, Brooklyn Mint, Coogi, LRG, Rocawear, Levi's and True Religion. They always get lots of shoes in so if you get there early on release day you well most likely walk out happy. Once you get cool with the workers they will even put your size a side for you. Now that's customer service.

You'll find things that you can wear to work or out on the first floor and then a jeans/graphic t-shirt section on the second floor. There is a lot to look at and chose from, regardless of how you dress yourself (from GQ to Jersey Shore). Within each designer, the pieces are quite variable. You'll usually find a few really nice items, and the sales can be incredibly good. For example, I got an amazing Paul Smith tuxedo for $400 during their spring sale last year. Their regular prices are on par with Boston or New York. Keep in mind that they usually buy one size of each piece, so if you do like something it's probably not going to be there if you don't get it the first time you try it on. Service-wise, the owner is very nice and the staff is attentive. Their tailor is very good, and they do a good job in the store with alterations.
