After spending too much for ill-fitting pants at another store which will not be named, we decided it was worth the trek down to Cherry Creek to get my husband fitted something more flattering. The salesperson did the measurements and asked about preferred fit. A few minutes later, my husband was trying on a pair of mass-produced pants that fit him like they were made for him. Pretty impressive, am I right? We placed an order for the same pants in our (my) preferred color, and they showed up a few days later. My husband loved them so much he went on an online shopping spree last night and ordered the same pants in several different colors. I went to every suit store in Denver open on a Saturday and everywhere I went didn't even bother showing me suits and simply told me they were 8 weeks out for tailoring. I ended up at Homer Reed where instead of turning me away as an impossible request, Bill went through the entire store with me and found a suit that fit pretty close. He then made a special request to their Tailor to put me at the front of the line so that my suit was ready to go Monday morning for the wake Monday night. Although it was for a sad occasion, I had a perfectly fitting suit. I was not a customer of Homer Reed before but I am forever one now.
