You have to work hard to earn one star from me, but this Old Navy is the worst one that I've ever been to. Maybe their Christmas was a little crazy but that was 5 days ago. There are still clothes on the floor, clothes tossed on displays and clothes on carts to be folded and put away. I tried to shop. I did. Not to be mean or anything, but I can't believe how disorganized and chaotic this store is. Men, women's and children's clothes didn't have their each section of the store. It was all mixed in together. It was difficult to find what I was looking for, as well as my friend that was trying to find pants. Everything was tossed up and had to shuffle through all sorts of clothes. Ridiculous. read more

I decided to review Old Navy because when I was there two weeks ago I was so dismayed. I used to love it so much that I would stop in for specific items. Now, it's just my husband buying shorts here after he splits his old shorts in the rump area. The price on those shorts were affordable, but a lot of items are not. As I said, I used to covet ON's prints. Looking at them now, they are too edgy or somehow almost pretty, but not quite. H&M has this certain soft side, while ON tries to obtain it and fails. Girls' leggings were beautiful, but overpriced. I can get them at Target for four bucks less. One blouse was sixteen bucks, while at H&M it would be twelve. Sale stuff was either ugly or not cheap enough. When I go into ON now, it feels like I am entering a warehouse fighting the gloom with harsh lighting. H&M feels like a hip club. The worst part was the double-sided aisle of junk at kid level that traverses the path to the registers. It is slick and distasteful marketing. They might as well give me a can of free car wax at the end. They do give you a coupon for next time, and if you complete an online survey you get a percentage off another time. So, you would have to go two more times to utilize those savings, but ON will not save your soul. read more

I shop here when I need something cheap that doesn't look totally terrible. Years before I use to run into a Kmart before the days of Old Navy, but now they are the default cheap clothing place to go when I'm in a pinch and don't have a lot of coin to spend on clothes when I'm out of town. 2 Tshirts for less than $11 buck........done deal. read more

Purchased some items that were NOT online exclusives but got a 30% discount online, they were one size to big. Back of invoice said I could EXCHANGE or RETURN in appropriate store. I decided to go pick out the exact items at the store but in a size smaller and exchange them. When I took them to the register the girl told me since I purchased online I had to have it refunded but then repurchase them. I asked if I was going to have the same pricing at which I originally purchased and she said it would be the same as the invoice. After completing the return she rung up the exchanging items and tried to charge me $20-$30 more than I originally paid. I said that made no sense and the invoice clearly said I could exchange in store. I asked to speak to the manager and she claimed to be. I said forget that, why can't I exchange them for the price I originally paid they are the same EXACT items? Then I had my 7yr old daughter along who wanted a swimsuit and some sparkly flip flops on sale for $5 that's what the sign said. She tried to argue that they were $7.94, she then went back and checked and came back and changed the price to $5. I again said that makes no sense that I had to go through that whole process with invoice in hand and the exchange policy clearly written out on back. She said "Have a Good Day." in an extremely snide cocky attitude. I purchase from old navy not only for myself but my 4 kids as well. After that experience I don't want to spend another dime there. I can no longer purchase those items for the same price since they are no longer on sale and I called customer service. They informed me that employee was totally wrong and I for one did not need to return them and rebuy and that the only time I could not exchange is if they were online only or online exclusives. NONE of them were. They gave me a 20% discount code which said could be combined with online promos but if you read the fine print says it CANNOT be combined with other offers but even then I CANNOT BUY THE ITEMS I WANTED AGAIN FOR THE SAME PRICE. I am so disgusted with this experience and irritated that I no longer can get the same items for the price I originally paid. Not only that if she was the MANAGER she could have done an override but I shouldn't have had to even ask but she was feeding me a line of crap to begin with, I don't know who trained her but clearly but what I was told from online support customer service and store relations department she has not idea what she is talking about. I would love to call the store general manager or district management and have a chat with them about their totally disrepectful ignorant unknowledgeable so called manager that was working at 1.55 PM yesterday at the Asheville Mall. I have worked in retail myself long enough to know that her information was not accurate to question the exchange policy clearly written on the back of the invoice that I showed to her and be treated in the matter in unacceptable and that you never treat a customer with the disrespect like she did especially coming from a so called manager. I didn't catch her name because I was furious with her and her attitude. I should have walked back into the store with the customer service on the line and get her name right then and there and inform her of the information I was getting directly from them. Personally the CASHIER#2440876 from STORE#06506 who completed TRANSACTION#6465 on REGISTER#006 should be fired for her unacceptable behavior towards a customer, she costs the company over $100 dollars yesterday and much much more from now on as I will no longer be a customer of Old Navy or its sister companies, I shopped there for 5 people and that adds up and my kids and myself love buying clothes. No one corrected the issue to complete fix the problem, granted like I said they did give me a 20% coupon code but it is still NOT the same deal on the items that I purchased and really wanted, no the prices have gone up and even with the disount code I can't get the same prices, its still more. If that was what I wanted I would have just paid it in the store with that ignoramous. She should be ashamed of herself and old navy as well for having staff such as her, that has been the first and only time I will have an unpleasant shopping experience in old navy. read more
