Dilliard's clearance is what you make of it. It is a clearance store for a reason. In many things that you find there will only be one available. If you're willing to invest time and truly look for the things your wardrobe needs. I found 2 pair of pants, 2 sweaters, 3 blouses, a dress jacket, and a very smart executive outfit for $117. I didn't realise this was an outlet, until about halfway through (thought they might have been closing the location down)? Some of the prices are not outlet, at all - which I noted when I picked up a top from LL Bean that was more at this "outlet" than directly from LL Bean on theirnown website. On the flipside, my partner got a $200 men's robe for $15. You just have to be thorough amd really search. The entrance has a lot of quality brands, nicely maintained, but as you go deeper it gets picked through and shuffled. Employees doing their best to keep up appearances and definitely try to be helpful, so 5* to them! I'd definitely go back, but go with an open mind and not looking for anything too specific. read more

First off this is not your NORMAL Dillard store, it is an Outlet. So it's safe to say your shopping experience will be a bit different than expected (previous reviews). Yet, still has the Same high quality products but not with the ambience and customer service you would normally get. That being said the CSRs I have met in my 10 years of visiting here and the deals I have had have been tremendous. I am a big man and finding my size shirts long and short sleeve in the Gold Line and Travelmates is a score every time. I still have in my closet a few 10 year old shirts that I wear to work probably biweekly, and not having to iron them has probably saved more hours than I can comprehend. Never had any luck with pants though, only shirts and jackets. read more

This is a fun outlet store by Dillards. Great finds and prices. I read some of the negative comments and dont understand them. It's an outlet not a normal Dillards. So with that comes lots of racks of cloths and shoes to look at and they are original brand names not "knock offs" at very discounted prices!! How great is that? Now stock changes and you might find a lot one time and not so much the another time. But if you're a shopper , this is an excellent store!! For those of you that want the regular Dillards store or a specialty store experience, with higher prices, go for it. Give me this store everyday !! read more

I am completely shocked at the condition of this store!! It looks like an old church basement used clothing sale inside this store. With the high-end Dillard name I expected a department store experience. Instead we waded through a sea of cast off mostly out of season clothing. The worst part was going into the dressing room. Before the entrance to the dressing room area it is roped off as if people are going to stampede the dressing rooms ... odd, since even on a busy Saturday only a few other people are there ... entering into the dressing room area some of the rooms were a normal size but I was sent to the back area into a row of tiny dark dingy disgusting changing booths with plastic chairs straight out of 1980. You have to REALLY search, but sometimes you'll come across a good find. The big down side is that now they don't open until noon. If they opened at 10, I could go and have time to look. I haven't even been able to go in for a long time because of the store hours. read more

This was honestly the most horrific and traumatic visit to a store. I generally do not go into stores like this MAINLY because I am "welcomed" with prejudice and just down right snobby people. But a friend of mine wanted to get me a formal dress for our cruise and wanted to check out Dillards because she is a loyal shopper there and they had a sale. From the start we were followed by the manager Payton is her name. When we got to the dressing rooms the two ladies there were acting very suspicious of us when we just wanted to try on dresses. When we finished up in the dressing rooms the lady yelled saying "THERE IS SUPPOSED TO BE 8 ITEMS" I let her know they were all here and when she recounted there was indeed all total 8 items. When we got to the register my mom asked for the manager because she wanted her items to be held, the manager said that was fine. Our friend that was with us had put a item ON TOP of her personal bag and the manager accused her of "concealment" and told her "you are now band from the store" not only was that a stupid and ridiculous accusation but the item was on sale for 5 bucks.. you would think if someone was trying to steal it would be of more value lol. On top of all of that once we left the store the little mall security guard FOLLOWED her out to try and get her license plate.. as if she stole something and was trying to leave the store with it. I truly believe this was racially motivated because I am black and Mexican and my sister along with my mother are Mexican. We were treated wrongly through this whole experience and didn't even get to buy the clothes we did indeed intend to buy. We are not just leaving this at a review we're going to take further action because we were wronged based by our looks. And to you Ms. Store manager of 15 years, Payton, I hope you are enjoying your sad and bored life because hate will get you nowhere. I'm a minor btw.. so thanks for giving me ptsd. read more

Gross. If you want a too close for comfort. disorganized experience, this is your place! While I understand this is an outlet location, the signage wreaks of "this place is going out of business!" desperation...and so do the racks filled last seasons-favorite-past season clothing. Advice to management: lose the cheesy signage and ORGANIZE the store in a way that makes sense. Sleeveless dresses together, shirts together, prom dresses together, pants separated by type... I hate that this was my first experience in a Dillard's and this was the impression I got. :-/ read more

If you're a Dillard's fan you might just love this place or maybe not. It's kind of overwhelming and looks and feels more like a clearance/markdown center for Dillard's. The signage is all bold, red and kind of all looks the same - you know those "entire store on sale" signs. The shoes and home goods are on shelving units that look like they should be in a stock room. Nothing fancy here, just down and dirty shopping. If you can't find something to wear or a decent discount here, then you haven't looked hard enough. Although there are sections for men and kids, most of the clothing are for women. This is a Dillards outlet store at the Asheville Outlets. It's definitely a must if you're in the area and like Dillards. It's not set up like a traditional Dillards, it looks more like a TJ Maxx or Ross. It is very well organized and clean. It is quite large with a lot of racks so give yourself time to go through the store. The items are on multiple markdowns with an extra percentage off so you're getting great deals. There are also specials each week. When I went in women dresses were on a special if you bought one it was 50% off, if you bought two it was 60% off, and if you bought 3+ it was 70% off. This is one of my favorite places to go for bargains. Dillard's carries good high end clothing and if you have the patience to look you can find wonderful buys here. First time my husband and I shopped there we added up what the full retail was and what we paid for the items and we only paid about 10% of what they originally cost. The store is organized into sections and sizes and there is a fitting room. You should plan to spend a while there, but oh is it worth the visit!! read more
